The stand-off guided bombs, has the capability of carrying out precise attack against ground targets with automatic guided function. Simulation of the traditional guided bombs can not directly evaluate the performance of operations. Visual simulation technology allows designers to get the immersive virtual environment experience to help designers design concepts to deepen guided bombs and germination of new ideas, and develop a highly intelligent guided bomb, so the visual simulation technology has the great significance to the stand-off guided bombs during the development.In this paper, we first analyzes the features of the traditional visual simulation system, follow digital simulation and visualization simulation phase separation of the idea, put forward an improved framework for visual simulation system, so that the system has the better flexibility and ease of use.Then study the digital simulation module and data transmission module. We use secondary development on Matlab, to solve the data transfer module network communication problems, improve the efficiency of the simulation.Finally, we complete the design of the visual simulation software module, and related to the key issues in detail. Use the Internet to the provision of public open terrain elevation data to establish three-dimensional terrain model. According to the design requirements of a certain type stand-off guided bomb, use Creator to establish a certain type of three-dimensional model of guided bombs. We produced an explosion, fire, smoke and other special effects. Through the study of terrain modeling, 3D modeling, special effects, etc, the system has enhanced the Visual effects of realism in the stand-off guided bomb.Through the study, we achieve the stand-off guided bombs visual simulation systems. The System has a high fidelity, and completes the effect of simulation system requirements.
