The application of numerical simulation technology in wind engineering is moreand more widely since the rise ever since. It give priority to studying complex flowaround a building or buildings in structural wind engineering and the wind structureresearch in mesoscale or large scale terrain range in meteorological wind engineering.This paper attempts to combine the two methods to solve growing problem about windresistance design of over provision building in mountain terrain structure.Fluent as the most popular universal finite element fluid simulation software onthe market at present, is more popular in combination with Ansys. This paper usingAnsys Fluent13, uses a non-equilibrium wall function of Realizable k-ε turbulent modelfor the numerical modelling of building structure wind-resistant design under actualmountain terrain. First of all, carrying out some simulations of a sized house on a simpleterrain with parameters and turbulence model chose by the existing research results andcontrasting the simulation results with data calculated by related provisions, to verifythe reliability of simulation data. Secondly, this paper introduced a set of research basedon Google Earth to obtain the terrain and the method of digital modeling. meantime,putting forward the concept of effective terrain area, and expoundding the principle ofselecting the effective terrain. Then, effective boundary of region terrain approximatetreatment and the choice of the land surface roughness is also discussed. Affording alow calcuate cost combination of extension length and slope which is setted by simpleoperation and minimum miscalculation,after studying the relationship betweencombination and miscalculation.According to the research results, putting the set of numerical simulation methodon the wind resistance design project of YaTai commerce center. Getting wind loadshape coefficients of each single building and three results of buildings on terrain in16wind angle which are distribution of surface wind pressure and wind environment ofpedestrian height and comprehensive correction coefficient. And it can prove that thismethod of numerical simulation of buildings on actual terrain used in wind resistancedesign based on Google Earth and Ansys Fluent can be used in practical projects.
