Clinical Study Of Moxibustion On The Treatment Of Adenomyosis With Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis

ObjectiveAccording to the principle of evidence-based medicine,we observe whether it is effective and safe to treat qi stagnation and blood stasis type of adenomyosis with moxibustion treatment,and provide a reference for clinical.MethodWe randomly divided 60 cases of adenomyosis which accord with each research standard into moxibustion treatment group and mifepristone control group.The treatment group was treated with moxibustion at menstrual D1.Acupoints:Guanyuan,Qihai,Zhongji,Sanyinjiao,Diji,Xuehai,Taichong.The use of Moxa Moxibustion:birdpecking moxibustion combined with mild moxibustion through a moxibustion stand,once every day,each point moxibustion 20min,7d in each menstrual cycle.The control group was given oral administration of Mifepristone Tablets and started treatment at menstrual D1,each time 12.5mg,Qd×7d in every menstrual cycle.The two groups were treated with three menstrual cycles for 1 courses.We observed and compared the two groups of patients’ side effects during the treatment.After 1 courses of treatment,we observed and compared the two groups of patients’ relative indexes,after third menstrual cycles,include the total clinical efficacy,dysmenorrhea scores,uterine volume,and changes in the size of fibroids.SPASS 22 statistical software was used to analyze the recorded data.Results(1)Finally,29 cases were treated in the treatment group,30 cases in the control group.The baseline and comparability of the two groups were comparable,include age,the degree of dysmenorrhea,Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome score.(2)There was no adverse reaction in the moxibustion treatment group,but there were side effects of hot flashes(9 cases),vaginal drip bleeding(13 cases)and weight gain(20 cases)in the mifepristone control group.(3)The total effective rate in the moxibustion treatment group was 100%,and the total effective rate was 36,67%in the mifepristone control group.After the non parametric test,the total effective rate between the moxibustion treatment group and the mifepristone control group between the two groups was significantly different(P=0.000,P<0.01).The effect of moxibustion treatment group is better than that of mifepristone group.(4)The total effective rate of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome was 96.55%in the moxibustion treatment group and 30%in the mifepristone control group.After the parameter test,the total effective rate of the two groups of moxibustion treatment group and the mifepristone control group were significantly different(P=0.006,P<0.01).There was significant difference in the difference of Qi and blood stasis syndrome between the moxibustion treatment group and the mifepristone control group(P=0.000,P<0.01)before and after the treatment.It showed that the effect of moxibustion treatment group was better than that of mifepristone group.(5)The degree of dysmenorrhea,integral moxibustion treatment group and control group two mifepristone group after treatment of dysmenorrhea were decreased by paired t test,moxibustion treatment group and control group in two groups before and after treatment,there were significant differences(P<0.05).The difference of the difference between the moxibustion treatment group and the mifepristone control group before and after the treatment(P=0.001,P<0.01),the difference between the moxibustion treatment group was significantly higher than that of the mifepristone control group.It showed that the effect of moxibustion treatment group was better than that of mifepristone group.(6)The volume of uterus changes,the paired t test,the moxibustion treatment group and the mifepristone control group two groups of uterine volume compared with no significant difference(P=0.732,P>0.05),comparable.There was no significant difference between the moxibustion treatment group and the treatment group(P=0.421,P>0.05),but there was no significant difference between the control group and the treatment group(P=0.388,P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P=0.126,P>0.05).(7)The change of the size of the myoma was examined by t.There was no significant difference in the size of the uterine fibroids between the moxibustion treatment group and the mifepristone control group(P=0.562,P>0.05)before treatment,and the comparison was comparable between the two groups.There was no significant difference between the moxibustion treatment group and before treatment(P=0.190,P>0.05),and there was no significant difference between the mifepristone control group and the treatment group before treatment(P=0.427,P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the moxibustion treatment group and the mifepristone control group before and after the treatment(P=0.433,P>0.05).There were no significant differences between the two groups.ConclusionWe found that the use of moxibustion to treat qi stagnation and blood stasis type adenomyosis,compared to mifepristone oral treatment program,the former can achieve better comprehensive efficacy.Moreover,it can improve the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis,dysmenorrhea and qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome effectively.However,this regimen,like short use of mifepristone,is not effective in reducing the size of the uterus and the volume of fibroids in AM patients.Considering the simple and inexpensive treatment,the author believes that this treatment is worthy of further clinical research and promotion.
