Internet has got rapid development recent years in China, not only the number of net users is growing fast, but also the technical form of internet is changing quickly. The shock wave of internet has beyond the technology area and covers every corner of our life. Internet has changed the way and efficiency of people getting information, and the process of China’s political communication. Internet-mediated political communication has risen very rapidly and prominently in china led to the accelerating reshuffle of China’s system of political communication. The appearance of internet-mediated political communication is good for China’s political rule and government image, and can realize democracy and people’s rights, providing platform for public participation in state management. and in contemporary China, internet-mediated political communication is also the nerve that Chinese people expect to communicate and link themselves with their governments. To discuss the issue of China’s internet-mediated political communication, this thesis holds, certain attention should first be paid to clarify the connotation, the characteristics, and the main forms of internet-mediated political communication, which should be followed by a new looking into the relevant communication theories in the context of internet-mediated political communication. Then, the overall states of china’s internet-mediated political communication should be grasped, and so done the positive and negative influence internet-mediated political communicationerts on China’s politic in s particular way. Finally, after a comprehensive analysis of the problems of China’internet-mediated political communication, an overall proposition is going to be put forward aiming at solving China’s internet-mediated political communication. The paper, by analyzing the status quo of the present civil society in china and The publicity of the public sphere constructed by traditional media, concludes that election, conference, mass media, letters and visits are the traditional ways of China’s political communication, their short comings are very clearly and overload of information, noise in information transfer and informal communication. The rise of internet gives opportunity to improve this situation, feather such as high load of information, searchable, low lag and good interaction means that internet is a very good channel for political communication. Furthermore the great political impact of technically instrumental Internet resulting from tremendous public zeal in online participation in polities, may stem from the facts that the civil society is underdeveloped and the public sphere lacks publicity. Internet, however, compensates partly for the lack of organizations in the civil society and realizes in a sense some functions that civil society should perform. But the negative influences of internet are also obvious:take threat to political stabilization and policy making, do harm to government management and state security.Development of technology is the driving force of history, so we should be optimistic to see the bright future of internet-mediated political communication.
