Purpose:Through research on acting mechanism of damp-drying method with warm and bitter herb against aqua-carbohydrates metabolism imbalance caused by syndrome of Dampness Incumbering Middle Energizer, to provide experimental evidence for traditional Chinese medicine the theory of spleen governs the transportation, for the understanding to the syndrome of Dampness Incumbering Middle Energizer, for the clinical application of using the damp-drying method with warm and bitter herb to cure the syndrome of Dampness Incumbering Middle Energizer.Method:Adopting matured animal model for the the syndrome of Dampness Incumbering Middle Energizer from previous research, with the method of immunohistochemistry measure the expression of related aquaporin protein and glucose transportor in the intestinal, so as to understand the influence against animal’s aqua-carbohydrates metabolism resulted from damp-drying method with warm and bitter herb; with enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay(ELISA) to measure the contents of aquaprotein, glucose transportor, Na+-K+-ATPase as well as Ca2+-ATPase related factor in the intestinal so as to understand the mechanism of membrane formation and the influence of the medical treatment to the model animal’s aqua-carbohydrates metabolismResults:一、The expression of related aquaporin protein in intestinal1. The distribution of aquaporin protein in the intestinalExpression of AQP1and AQP3in jejunal mucosa increases; expression of AQP2in jejunal mucosa, colonic mucosa and rectal mucosa increase; expression of AQP5in rectal mucosa increases; expression of AQP7in jejunum and rectal mucosa increase.While expression of AQP7and AQP9in jejunual adventitia decrease.2. Measurement of quantity of aquaporin protein in the intestinalAQPO content decrease in colonic tissue but increase in rectal tissue, AQP2content decrease in colonic submucosal tissue but increase in rectal submucosal tissue; AQP3content increase in jejunal submucosal tissue and colonic mucosa but decrease in colonic submucosal tissue and rectal submucosal tissue.二、The expression of glucose operation carrier in the intestinal1. It also influenced the contents of Na+-K+-ATPase and Ca2+-ATPase related factor; While the intervention by damp-drying method with warm and bitter herb method shall have influence to the action stage of protein and enzyme related factors. This means that this treatment can reduce the aqua-carbohydrates metabolism obstacle in the intestinal caused by the syndrome of Dampness Incumbering Middle Energizer model. This might also be the main mechanism of damp-drying method with warm and bitter herb method to cure the the syndrome of Dampness Incumbering Middle Energizer.
