Integrative Current Situation And Prospects Of The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Diabetes

After analyzing plenty of literature data of diabetes mellitus, the author interprets the present status of DM (diabetes mellitus) diagnosis and treatment on the following three aspects: tradition Chinese medicine, western medicine, Chinese and western unite. Based on comparing and analyzing the advantages and deficiencies on diagnosing and treating DM with these three methods, the author concludes that diagnosis and treatment for DM with Chinese and western unite is better than the way only by either tradition Chinese medicine or western medicine. Chinese and western unite can take effect complementarily and co-operatingly, increase the sensitivity of blood glucose control, reduce side-effect, and reduce or slow down the occurrence of DM and its chronic complication.
