The payment industry is entering a period of high-quality expansion in the context of the era when the main payment method is shifting from cash-based type to non-cash-based type along with the continuous innovation of Internet technology and the increasing demand of people for quality of life.Since China’s payment industry is strongly supported by the government and driven by emerging technologies,its development prospects will be very promising in the future.In this regard,its desire for talents will be even stronger.As one of the most important strategic resources in business operation,human resource is decisive for whether the strategic plan of the enterprise can be achieved while recruitment is an effective way to help enterprises get excellent talents.In the paper,it takes Company Q which is a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 group as the research object.Company Q is currently in the leading position of the top three in the payment industry and it is in the critical period of rapid expansion,but the problems in its recruitment work affect the selection of talents and restrict the further development of the company.In such context,the research on the optimization of the recruitment system is crucial and significant for company Q’s sustainable development.Firstly,it takes recruitment concept,recruitment system,competency model and job matching theory as theoretical guidance.Secondly,it investigates and understands the profile of Company Q,the current situation of human resources,as well as sorts out the current situation of the company’s marketing staff recruitment system.Then,with questionnaires and behavioral event interviews,it collects the evaluation data of marketing staff and recruitment team on the recruitment system,summarizes the problems of marketing staff recruitment management in Company Q and explores the causes.Finally,targeted optimization measures are proposed to help the company recruit employees who are matched with their positions.Based on the above research,this paper found that company Q has the problems of unreasonable recruitment planning,insufficient recruitment channels,single way of talent selection and low conversion rate of new employees in marketing posts.The deeper reasons for these problems are that the company does not pay enough attention to recruitment and it is lack of guidance on the competency model of marketing posts,recruitment assessment and recruitment team capability.To address the problems and in view of causes of the recruitment system,it proposes to construct a competency model for marketing positions in the payment industry and provides assessment tools and reference bases for the recruitment selection process,then,it formulates a job analysis book based on the competency model,develops scientific human resource planning,improves recruitment implementation,optimizes recruitment effect evaluation and proposes optimization measures for the recruitment system.The company is required to provide guarantee countermeasures in four aspects: organization,system,culture and funding with the purpose of implementing the optimization of the recruitment system smoothly.
