Research On Evaluation And Approaches For The Competitiveness Of HD Bank Based On The AHP

The emergence of city commercial banks has enriched China’s financial system,enlivened the local economy,made indelible contributions to serving localities,serving small and medium-sized enterprises,and serving citizens,and has become an important part of China’s banking industry.However,in recent years,with the process of pursuing diversified development and cross-regional operations,in the context of economic downturn,stricter supervision,and the sudden rise of Internet financial formats,city commercial banks have been facing with great challenges.But many problems occurred.For example,insufficient innovation ability,vague positioning,and weak risk management and control capabilities,these problems can be summarized as insufficient competitiveness.At present,under the complex situation of major changes unprecedented in a century and the epidemic situation of the century,how can city commercial banks cultivate opportunities in the crisis,open a new situation in the change,continuously enhance their competitiveness,and achieve long-term,stable and sustainable development has become an important topic.Taking HD Bank as an example,this thesis selects key analysis indicators related to the competitiveness of commercial banks,takes the AHP analytic hierarchy method as the basic method,and evaluates its competitiveness in an all-round way.This thesis cites a large number of official data,including financial yearbook data,bank annual reports,banking and insurance regulatory website data,industry association statistics,etc.,and selects four major types of indicators of security,profitability,liquidity and development,and constructs an index system for comprehensively evaluating the competitiveness of commercial banks.Finally,using the comparative analysis method,suggestions and measures for HD Bank to enhance its competitiveness are given.The research conclusions have certain guiding significance for HD banks and even for the group of urban commercial banks to enhance their competitiveness.
