The "Rural maker space" is a platform to gather various "dual innovation" resources such as science and technology, capital and talents, and to cultivate various agricultural innovation subjects and entrepreneurial enterprises in the form of incubation, which plays an important role in promoting rural revitalization and common prosperity. At present, the spatial distribution of "Rural maker space" is more in the east and less in the west, and the spatial pattern is constantly evolving with economic and social development.According to the theory of location selection and new economic geography, suitable environmental conditions and correct location selection are the guiding principles for the high-quality development of "Rural maker space",and the pursuit of a balance of technology, market and cost is the compass for its sustainable development. Therefore, clarifying the internal logic and influencing factors of the spatial aggregation of "Rural maker space" and exploring its regional development path are the top priorities of the current study.Based on above, this study systematically compares the internal logic, influencing factors, regional development paths and evolutionary sequence of the spatial aggregation of "Rural maker space" based on a review of domestic and international academic results and supported by relevant economics and geography theories, with Zhejiang Province as the research sample.Firstly, this study compares in detail the logic of spatial aggregation of "Rural maker space" in three parts, namely, the dynamics, mode and development process of spatial aggregation.Secondly, this study analyzes the influencing factors of the spatial aggregation of "Rural maker space",and systematically elaborates the dominant flow elements, influencing factors and the mechanism of the spatial aggregation of "Rural maker space".On the basis of this study, the effects and interactions of different types of economic flow factors on the spatial agglomeration of "Rural maker space" are investigated with the help of geographic probes.Furthermore, due to the dynamic equilibrium relationship between market, technology and cost, this study investigates the antecedents that trigger the high-density agglomeration of "Rural maker space" based on the fs QCA fuzzy set qualitative analysis comparison method. After comparing the results of various combinations of conditions,we further summarize and refine the regional development paths and their evolutionary development sequences of the spatial clustering of "Rural maker space".The conclusions of this study can be summarized in four aspects: firstly, the spatial distribution characteristics of the "Startups" vary with the level of regional economic development;secondly, the spatial clustering of the "Startups" is closely related to various economic flow factors;third, each influencing factor has a significant impact on the "Rural maker space";thirdly, the synergistic influences of each factor on the spatial clustering of "Rural maker space" are divided into five categories;fourthly, the development of the spatial clustering of "Rural maker space" follows a stepwise progressive development process.Based on the theoretical analysis and empirical results, this study provides the following three aspects: "unblocking the key blockages and shaping the symbiotic interface","focusing on core needs and forming value co-creation","breaking through the development difficulties and creating a growth flywheel"."The study proposes countermeasures and suggestions for the "Rural maker space" to get rid of the existing development dilemma in the region and achieve high-quality development in a localized manner.
