Family firms brings great vitality to our economy.The turnover intentions of many family firms is increasing,which has become a common problem limiting their healthy development.There exists a contractual relationship between employees and enterprises.It’s also an important reference for measuring this relationship.This relationship is employee job satisfaction,which is mainly expressed in employee work enthusiasm and motivation.Employee job satisfaction not only has a significant impact on the turnover rate,but also affects job performance.Both can further affect the management level and business conditions of the company.Therefore,the study of employee job satisfaction has become an issue that cannot be ignored in the management of family firms.DFD is a typical father-founded medium-sized family firm and engaged in the research and development,production and sales of candied food products.With the continuous expansion of the company scale,DFD faces many challenges.Weak anti-risk ability is obvious in the fierce competition market.Besides,the traditional family management mode used in the talent management of DFD is not scientific,which makes the firm employees’ job satisfaction low.In result the trend of talent loss aggravated year by year,which brings negative impact to the company reputation and affects the long-term development of the firm.This thesis takes DFD family firm as the research object to explore the influencing factors of employee job satisfaction in family firms.First,the thesis use literature research method to collect,organize and learn from domestic and foreign literature about the influencing factors of employees’ job satisfaction.Second,based on the principle of combining theory and practice the thesis process interviews with the current employees and a few separated employees to collect relevant information about the influencing factors of employees’ job satisfaction to design a survey scale with comprehensive content,strong operability and high quantifiability.Third,questionnaires are distributed to 238 DFD employees and 227 valid questionnaires collected.Then the data are analyzed for reliability,validity,validation factor test,descriptive analysis,multiple covariance analysis and regression analysis with the help of SPSS so to finally obtain the significance analysis and importance ranking of the factors influencing employee job satisfaction in DFD.Based on the results of the empirical study,it is found that the most important factor influencing employee job satisfaction in DFD is salary and welfare and there is a significant positive correlation between this dimension and employee job satisfaction.The secondary factor influencing employee job satisfaction in DFD companies is working environment and there is also a significant positive correlation between this factor and employee job satisfaction.In addition to the above two influencing factors,the thesis also quantifies the other five significant influencing dimensions and ranks the degree of influence and proposes improvement measures accordingly,such as building DFD position performance appraisal and salary communication system,building DFD basic training system,improving staff’s spiritual motivation,optimizing management structure,deepening disclosure of family members and authorization of non-family managers.All above will provide a strong guarantee for the development of DFD in the transition period.
