As one of the important components of the real economy,manufacturing industry is a pillar industry of the country and a national industry,reflecting the economic strength of the country.Machinery manufacturing industry plays an important role in various manufacturing industries in China.Machinery manufacturing industry provides continuous power for the development of modern industrial,which is beneficial to increase the national income,not only provides the material foundation for the development of modern society in our country,but also helps our country win the initiative in international competition.After many years of development,the gap between Chinese machinery manufacturing industry and western countries has gradually narrowed,and gradually moved to the stage of globalization.If machinery manufacturing industry wants to gain advantages in the fierce international competition,it needs a scientific modern management system as support,and objective performance appraisal system is very importantThis paper takes HT Machinery Company as a case,analyzes and studies the performance appraisal system of HT machinery company,and finds that there are some problems that cannot be ignored in the performance appraisal of HT machinery company.The company’s performance appraisal indicators focus on the current interests,lack long-term consideration,pay too much attention to financial indicators,lack of assessment of the number of new customers,lack of assessment of staff learning and growth,etc.These problems hinder the development of HT Machinery Company and it is not conducive to the realization of the strategic goal of HT machinery.Based on the strategic objectives and actual business situation of HT machinery company,the theory of balanced scorecard is introduced into the performance appraisal of HT machinery company,which can improve the problems existing in the performance appraisal of HT machinery company from the four dimensions of finance,customers,internal processes,learning and growth,and has considerable feasibility.In this paper,Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)is used to determine the weight of performance appraisal indicators,and the influence of subjective factors on the weight setting of performance appraisal indicators is reduced as far as possible.The weight assignment of assessment indicators is relatively objective,and the performance appraisal results implemented accordingly are relatively objective and fair.To ensure the smooth implementation of the optimized performance appraisal program of HT Machinery Company,this paper puts forward safeguard measures from the following four aspects: the establishment of performance appraisal committee,the improvement of communication and feedback mechanism,the strengthening of staff training,and the strengthening of cultural construction,so as to escort the smooth implementation of the performance appraisal program of HT Machinery Company and give full play to the due value of performance appraisal.Highlight the positive significance of performance appraisal.
