As a trading enterprise mainly engaged in imported iron ore,W company takes advantage of the supply of overseas high-quality mineral resources provided by shareholders,pays attention to the advantages of low cost and resource categories,finds out the strategic direction and objectives,actively optimizes strategic decisions,focuses on optimizing the internal resources of the enterprise,improves its core competitiveness,and avoids major losses caused by strategic choices in the process of development.This paper uses the methods of literature research and investigation and analysis.On the basis of combing and summarizing the relevant theoretical literature of enterprise strategy and iron ore trade,it uses the analysis tools such as pest and Porter’s five forces model to analyze the external macro environment and industry environment faced by the company,analyzes the internal development environment of the company from the aspect of resource capacity,and finds that it combines its own state-owned enterprise shareholder platform advantages in the iron ore industry The stable and high-quality mineral resources channels,excellent purchasing and sales ability and management ability of foreign enterprise shareholders have formed a competitive advantage that competitors in the market cannot replicate in a short time;On this basis,through SWOT model analysis,summarize the company’s external opportunities and challenges,internal strengths and weaknesses,and explore the most suitable strategic type for the development of W company.At the same time,combined with value chain analysis,select the most suitable differentiation strategy: through the "TW bulk+" e-commerce platform,implement the differentiation of procurement mode,implement the centralized mining mode of "group purchase" iron ore,and integrate the needs of multiple downstream customers,A large number of purchases can not only negotiate prices with foreign mines,but also eliminate offline communication and sales,so as to improve the capital flow rate;Through the differentiation of after-sales service,assign "customer managers" to solve customer problems in time and maintain customers.At the same time,collect various information about customers and markets to provide more effective information for the next import of iron ore;Through the differentiation of business varieties,increase the import of scrap steel,closely follow the environmental protection policy,and alleviate the high domestic demand for imported iron ore.Finally,it puts forward the safeguard measures of the company’s international trade business development strategy,which lays a solid foundation for the steady implementation of the business strategy of the enterprise from four aspects: financial security,human security,institutional security and cultural security.
