| The basis of the quality development of the manufacturing industry is the quality development of manufacturing enterprises.Improving the quality of all workers in the manufacturing industry is the basis of quality competitiveness,the key to quality development in manufacturing enterprises and the key to achieving the strategic objectives of productivity development.Product quality is an important quality management issue in the manufacturing industry.In turn,the issue of product quality depends on quality management.There are problems in quality management.Firstly,problems related to quality control,quality technology,quality management tools and techniques.Secondly,problems related to quality management systems and systems.And the existing problems are inseparable from the quality of people and education.“As the most important quality factor,human resources are the main constraint to quality improvement” said Cheng Hong,director of the Institute of Quality Development Strategies at Wuhan University.Total Quality Management(TQM)is characterised by the “three elements”: all people,all processes and all aspects.Without the active participation of all employees,high production quality cannot be achieved.However,as one of the largest manufacturing countries in the world,Chinese manufacturing companies do not pay enough attention to the quality of their human resources.There are serious problems with the quality perception,quality awareness,quality skills and quality values of Chinese manufacturing workers,which have a significant impact on the quality level and productivity of companies.Mr Ishikawa emphasised that quality management “begins and ends with education”.Therefore,for a company to survive,quality education must be carried out throughout the process.Therefore,how to build a quality quality model for all workers in the manufacturing industry,develop a quality quality assessment scale and strengthen the quality level of all workers is an urgent issue.This study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods,including literature review,behavior events interview,questionnaires,and empirical research,to investigate the quality and qualitative characteristics of all workers in the manufacturing industry.All workers were categorised as “front-line production personnel”,“auxiliary production personnel”,and“managers”,and a separate model of quality and quality characteristics was developed for each position.A corresponding quality measurement scale was developed and an empirical study was conducted using Company W’s senior production staff as an example.The results of the study are presented below.(1)Construct the quality quality model.The quality model for front-line production personnel consists of five first-level indicators and 19 second-level second-level indicators.The quality model for auxiliary production personnel consists of three first-level indicators and 14second-level indicators.The quality model for Production management personnel consists of five first-level indicators and 17 second-level indicators.Project analysis,validity and reliability testing using the self-assessment questionnaire proved that the model has a good structure and valid dimensions.(2)Compile the quality assessment questionnaire.Compile the“front-line production personnel quality assessment questionnaire”,“the auxiliary production personnel quality assessment questionnaire” and “the production management personnel quality assessment questionnaire”.The results of the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis showed that the factor extraction was stable and reliable,and that the evaluation questionnaire was consistent with the quality and quality characteristics included in the constructed quality and quality model and met the psychometric requirements.The indicators of reliability and validity and item identification were also good and can be applied in future research practice.(3)Using the example of advanced production personnel,an empirical test of the quality level of advanced production personnel at Company W was carried out.The results show that the average quality level score of the advanced production personnel is 3.9236,indicating a good quality level of the advanced production personnel.It was found that the quality of the production staff of the different age groups and the quality of the frontline reached significant levels in cooperation,problem solving and quality competence,but not in quality management,corporate culture and basic knowledge.Submit proposals and analyse the results of the evaluation.Attach importance to the training of the weak links of front-line production personnel and promote their professional development;Strengthen quality education and training for production staff and combine different training methods to improve their experience;Conduct quality campaigns with product quality departments to raise awareness of total quality management. |
