Guizhou Province has experienced rapid economic development in the past ten years,and its GPD has tripled from 0.67 trillion in 2012 to 2.02 trillion in 2022.The development of local economy cannot be separated from the development of local finance.Since 2012,Eight national joint-stock commercial banks,including Industrial Bank,Everbright Bank and Minsheng Bank,have set up branches in Guizhou Province,injecting "financial invigilation" into the economy of Guizhou province and enhancing the impetus of regional economic development in Guizhou Province.BH Bank,as the youngest national joint-stock commercial bank,officially set up a first-level branch in Guizhou Province in 2021.Facing the complex internal and external economic environment and fierce industry competition,Guiyang Branch of BH Bank first needs to establish a firm foothold in the Guizhou market with the foundation stone of the development of corporate credit business.The research object of this paper is the competitive strategy of the corporate credit business of BH Bank Guiyang Branch under the new situation.According to the theory of strategic management,enterprise strategy and competitive strategy,the competitive strategy of the corporate credit business of BH Bank Guiyang Branch is systematically analyzed by using the analytical tools such as PEST analysis,Porter’s Five Forces model,SWOT analysis tool and QSPM model.And put forward the specific competition strategy and the corresponding implementation and safeguard measures.Through research,it is found that the credit business of the bank faces many business development opportunities,such as government policy support,favorable macroeconomic situation,rich customer resources,low customer concentration and high customer interest rate tolerance.It also faces external threats such as stricter regulation,downward market interest rate,high pressure on government debt,fierce competition among peers and high credit risk of customers.At the same time,BH Bank Guiyang Branch has the internal advantages of high asset quality,strong staff business ability,fast approval efficiency,strong risk control ability and strong support from the head office.And the lack of brand influence,weak customer base,imperfect allocation of human resources,insufficient loan scale,backward channel construction disadvantages.Through SWOT analysis and QSPM matrix analysis,the centralized competition strategy is determined from many alternative strategies.This paper discusses the specific implementation plan of the centralization strategy from the aspects of customer centralization,product centralization,loan centralization,customer industry centralization and branch resource centralization,and puts forward the safeguard measures for the implementation of the strategy from four aspects: strengthening the construction of talent team,optimizing the performance appraisal plan,strengthening the risk control measures and strengthening the technical system support.This paper hopes to provide scientific basis for the selection of appropriate competitive strategies for the corporate credit business of Guiyang Branch of BH Bank,and also hopes to provide ideas for the development of the corporate credit business of other commercial banks that build first-class branches.
