Research On The Dynamic Evolution Of Internation Capability Of Chinese Local Enterprises In The Context Of Resource Dependence

In recent years,the development of enterprise internationalization has accelerated,and in this process,the "disadvantage of outsiders" faced by Chinese local enterprises often makes them constrained by resource dependence,which is often not conducive to the improvement of enterprise internationalization capabilities.How to enhance the internationalization ability of enterprises in the context of resource dependence has become an important issue worth exploring,but this issue has not been fully studied.Based on the perspective of resource dependence,this article takes the internationalization process of Midea Group as a case study object,conducts data coding around the three dimensions of "manager cognition","resource acquisition method",and "internationalization ability",summarizes research conclusions,and constructs a theoretical model for the formation and evolution of Midea Group’s internationalization ability.Research has found that Midea Group has formed three types of managers’ perceptions: "market focused","technology focused",and "sharing focused" through the allocation of managers’ attention at different stages of internationalization,and has adopted a resource acquisition method of "resource patching,resource arrangement,and resource coordination.",Finally,it realizes the dynamic evolution process of enterprise internationalization ability from "basic ability-advanced ability-high-level ability".Successfully overcome the dilemma of resource dependence.Finally,the research inspiration and conclusion are drawn that enterprises in different stages of internationalization development will promote the formation of capabilities through the formation of different managers’ understanding and resource acquisition logic.It supplements the gap in research on the internationalization development of enterprises under resource dependence conditions and has reference significance for latecomer enterprises to successfully "go global".
