The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to comprehensively promote rural revitalization and accelerate the construction of an agricultural powerhouse. The No.1 Central Document of 2023 made major arrangements for comprehensively promoting rural revitalization and accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, stressing that building an agricultural powerhouse is the foundation for building a socialist modernization powerhouse, and state-owned farms play a key role in China’s modernization of agriculture. As a representative of state-owned farms, the development of the China-Czech Friendship Farm is of great significance for China’s modernization of agriculture. This study used theoretical frameworks such as comparative advantage theory and industrial value theory, and research methods such as literature review and questionnaire survey,to explore the path of industrial transformation and upgrading of the China-Czech Friendship State Farm. The study found that the farm faces many challenges in the transformation process, including a single industrial structure,an incomplete industrial transformation path system, low efficiency in land integration and resource utilization, insufficient development of circular agriculture, lagging development of eco-leisure agriculture,an outdated 1+N development model, and a loss of professional talent. This study conducted an empirical analysis of the industrial transformation of the China-Czech Friendship State Farm using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP).The results showed that among the first-level indicators of the farm’s transformation, the weight of institutional guarantee was the lowest, indicating that the farm enjoys high policy support. The weight of industrial structure was the highest, reflecting the challenges faced by the region’s industrial structure. The weight of infrastructure was relatively high, indicating the urgent need to improve infrastructure. The weight of regional cooperation was also high, indicating that there is still room for the farm’s industrial transformation. The weight of rural revitalization indicated that it has potential in the China-Czech Friendship State Farm, and policies can be used to address the "three rural" issues, promote precision agriculture, and improve the agricultural industry chain to achieve farm transformation.Based on the evaluation of the industrial transformation of the China-Czech Friendship State Farm, this study proposes the following solutions: First, adjust the direction of agricultural development, optimize industrial structure, and increase industrial diversity.Second, adhere to green development, promote sustainable development models such as eco-agriculture and organic agriculture, and protect the ecological environment.Third, strengthen land integration, improve the efficiency of land resource utilization, and reduce the rate of idle land.Fourth, develop circular agriculture to achieve efficient use of agricultural resources, reduce environmental pollution, and increase economic benefits.Fifth, develop eco-leisure agriculture, enrich agricultural tourism products, promote farmers’ income growth, and improve the farm’s comprehensive management capacity.Sixth, strengthen the development of agricultural service industries, including technology promotion, information services, and product processing,to increase the added value of the agricultural industry and promote the extension of the agricultural industry chain.Seventh, pay attention to the construction of the agricultural talent team, increase talent training efforts, introduce and cultivate professional talents, and improve the farm’s scientific and technological innovation capabilities.
