Research On The Path Of Transformation And Upgrading Of China 's Processing Trade

The electronic information manufacturing industry in the world, including communication, computer and software industry is undergoing rapid development along with fierce competition and industrial structure upgrading since the1990s. Across the world, electronic information manufacturing industry, as the important driver of global economic growth, shows a new trend of development in the21st century, which also has become an important propulsive force of the transformation and upgrading of electron information manufacturing industry in our country.With the deepening of China’s reform and open policy, the development of our electronic information manufacturing industry has begun to mature after more than thirty years, which results in the big difference with the inception in1980s in various facets, such as supply in market, foreign trade and technology development level. While there are also series of problems to improvement in the process of development, including low-value added products, our enterprises’deficiency experience and ability of product design and research and development link.Transformation and upgrading of processing trade in our country is the research macro-object of this paper, whose emphasis is the electronic information manufacturing industry of our country. In the first place, this thesis will use an entry point that matters intro-product specialization into the existing industrial division of electronic information manufacturing industry. Then we will probe processing trade of our electronic information manufacturing industry and formation of electronic information manufacturing industrial value chain based on that pattern of division. Meanwhile this paper will compare transformation and upgrading of electronic information manufacturing industry in other country and region with competitiveness in this field and put forward some proposals for our reference after that we have drawn a picture of how electronic information manufacturing industry of our country involving global value chain actively. Afterwards this paper will describe key factors those have a strong impact on the transformation and upgrading of electronic information manufacturing industry in our country with theoretical and empirical analyses. Finally we will propose the paths of industrial transformation and upgrading for our electronic information manufacturing corporates, which is followed by the corresponding countermeasures for processing trade in our country.In general, this paper’s proposition designed to address four major issues, namely:the development of electronic information manufacturing industry in our country, the enlightenment to our country brought by transformation and upgrading of electronic information manufacturing industry in other regions, the key factors affecting transformation and upgrading of electronic information manufacturing industry of our country and the path analysis of our transformation and upgrading of electronic information manufacturing respectively. These four issues interlock logically and levelly.
