Research On The Influential Factors And Realization Path Of Disruptive Innovation From The Perspective Of Latecomer Enterprises

Latecomer enterprises usually refer to the late entrants in the industry.In the market competition,they are prone to adverse competition situations such as the exclusion of incumbent enterprises,low-end locking of supply chain,technical and market blockade and so on.How to break through the multiple constraints,to find the right path to achieve rapid overtaking have become a realistic problem which needs to be solved urgently for many latecomer enterprises in China.With the rapid development of high and new technologies such as Internet,cloud computing and digitization,it is possible for latecomer enterprises to seize the opportunity of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change,to carry out disruptive innovation in business model,technological process and other aspects,and realize catch-up and even replacement of incumbent enterprises.However,the realization of disruptive innovation will face many influencing factors and different path choices.Therefore,identifying the influencing factors of disruptive innovation of latecomer enterprises and building targeted implementation paths are of great significance to guide the disruptive development of latecomer enterprises.This thesis is based on technology(T)-organization(O)-environment(E)theory,basic theory knowledge and environmental scanning theory,follows the "theory clear-factor discussion-path design-suggestions" the train of thought,discusses the influencing factors of disruptive innovation of latecomer enterprises by using metaanalysis method and constructs the realization path of disruptive innovation of latecomer enterprises by using multi-case grounded analysis method.On the basis of theoretical review,the main research work of this thesis are as follows:Based on 47 empirical literatures,99 effect sizes and 25979 independent samples,this thesis identifies and summarizes the key influencing factors of disruptive innovation by using meta-analysis method,and further explores the role of moderating variables.A four-factor framework of knowledge(K)-technology(T)-organization(O)-environment(E)is proposed,and the moderating effect of industry type is clarified.Aiming at the realization path of disruptive innovation of latecomer enterprises,using the multi-case grounded analysis method,PDD,Tesla and SPZP are selected as the representatives of low-end disruption,high-end disruption and cross-border disruption respectively,and the case materials of these three enterprises are coded through the step-by-step downsizing process,finally,a theoretical saturated path model for the realization of disruptive innovation in latecomer enterprises is constructed.It is confirmed that the disruptive innovation of latecomer enterprises can be realized in three stages and two ways: identifying and choosing the path in the period of choice → the disruptive technological innovation path and the value network innovation path in the period of innovation occupation → the disruptive innovation realization in the period of infiltration disruption.Finally,combined with the influencing factors and the research results of the disruptive innovation path,this thesis further put forward some suggestions on how to implement disruptive innovation in real enterprises,and summarized relevant management implications,and provided the method guidance and decision-making basis for Chinese latecomer enterprises to carry out disruptive innovation.
