With the advent of the digital information age and the process of economic globalization,state-owned banks are facing increasingly fierce challenges from regional joint-stock banks,multinational financial giants,Alipay,wechat and other competitors.These competitors continue to put pressure on state-owned banks,which makes the job requirements of bank employees more strict and more stressful.Bank employees’ happiness at work has been declining year by year,which has become an important factor affecting bank performance.In recent years,many bank managers have noticed this situation,they believe that improving staff happiness at work is not only a necessary measure,but also an important driving force to promote the development of the banking industry.By enhancing employees’ happiness at work,it can not only relieve work pressure and improve the working environment,but also help to improve employees’ willingness to work,improve work efficiency,reduce human resource costs,and thus improve organizational performance.In this thesis,the happiness of employees in TS branch of Agricultural Bank of China is selected as the object and starting point of the research.Through questionnaires and actual interviews,it is known that employees in TS branch of Agricultural Bank of China have low happiness at work.On this basis,the literature and the actual situation of the TS branch of Agricultural Bank of China were combined to design the questionnaire on the factors affecting the employee happiness.SPSS22.0 software was used to analyze the survey results,and five dimensions of the employee happiness of the TS branch of Agricultural Bank of China were obtained:job return,organizational support,job identity,self-efficacy and work pressure.According to the above five dimensions,combined with the current problems faced by the bank,this thesis puts forward relevant strategies to improve the work happiness of the TS branch employees of Agricultural Bank of China from the following five aspects: improving the work return of employees,formulating and improving the career development plan of employees,improving the corporate culture related to the employee’s work happiness,paying attention to the employee’s mental health and taking multiple measures to reduce the employee’s work pressure.Under the background of the new era,state-owned banks must ensure the happiness of employees if they want to achieve better development.In view of the lack of research in this field,the research results of this thesis can provide a certain reference for future research.If the countermeasures and suggestions in this thesis can be applied in practice,it will greatly enrich and improve the management method,and it can be applied to other state-owned banks,so as to greatly improve the happiness of employees,enhance the cohesion of enterprises and help enterprises achieve sustainable development.
