The outbreak and prevalence of the COVID-19 has brought unprecedented impact to the global economy,Not only are small and medium-sized enterprises facing the risk of bankruptcy,but even many industry-leading enterprises have found themselves in a development dilemma.Crisis such as epidemic situation require higher resilience from enterprises.As the core capability of enterprises to cope with the disruptions,organizational resilience plays an important role in the brave break and long-term development of enterprises.Practice shows that many enterprises choose to embrace the digital platform to cope with the crisis,and enterprises with strong digital platform capability show incomparable resilience of traditional enterprises.Digital platforms can promote information sharing,collaboration and collective action,and support resource acquisition and coordination in emergency and crisis management.However,current relevant research has paid little attention to the value of digital platform capabilities to organizational resilience,and the mechanism of which is also unclear.Therefore,it is necessary and meaningful to study how enterprises use digital platform capability to improve organizational resilience.Based on this,this paper takes organizational learning as a mediating variable and incorporates the three into the same research framework.The main research topics of this paper are as follows:(1)The impact of platform integration capability and platform reconfiguration capability on organizational resilience;(2)The mediating role of exploitative learning and exploratory learning in the influence of platform integration capability and platform reconfiguration capability on organizational resilience;(3)The combination effect of the antecedents of organizational resilience.For the purpose of this research,this paper adopts the questionnaire survey method to survey the enterprises with digital platforms.Based on 216 questionnaire data,the complex causal relationship between digital platform capability,organizational learning and organizational resilience is demonstrated through structural equation modeling(SEM)and fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis(fs QCA).The following conclusions were drawn from this paper: On the one hand,the results of SEM analysis show that:(1)The platform reconfiguration capability has a significant direct positive impact on organizational resilience,while the platform integration capability cannot directly have a significant positive impact on organizational resilience;(2)Both the platform integration capability and the platform reconfiguration capability can positively affect organizational resilience through the exploitative learning and exploratory learning.Among them,the platform integration capability can completely affect organizational resilience through the exploitative learning and exploratory learning,the platform reconfiguration capability partially affects organizational resilience through exploitative learning and exploratory learning;(3)Exploratory learning and exploratory learning play an equally important intermediary role between digital platform capability and organizational resilience.On the other hand,the analysis results of fs QCA method show that:(1)The platform integration capability,platform reconfiguration capability,exploitative learning and exploratory learning are the core conditions of organizational resilience;(2)When an enterprise has both high platform integration capability and high platform reconfiguration capability,it can achieve high organizational resilience of the enterprise whether through exploitative learning or exploratory learning;(3)When an enterprise has one of the digital platform capability,both exploitative learning and exploratory learning can be carried out at the same time.This paper enriches the research on the antecedents of organizational resilience,reveals the path mechanism of the impact of digital platform capability on organizational resilience,and provides inspiration for management practice: After building digital platforms,enterprises should strive to improve the digital platform capability,more effectively carry out exploratory and exploitative learning through platforms,timely absorb digital resources and information,and then improve organizational resilience to cope with the uncertainty and impact of the environment.
