Research On The Influence Of Relationship Embeddedness And Resource Integration Ability On Firm Innovation Performance

In recent years,with the continuous development of the market economy,the competition in various industries is constantly intensifying.Only through continuous innovation and change can enterprises form a strong competitive advantage in the industry and achieve stable development.How to carry out innovation activities effectively and improve innovation performance is very important for the development of enterprises.Existing studies have shown that relational embeddedness has a significant promoting effect on enterprise innovation performance,and the enterprise’s ability to integrate resources will also significantly promote the improvement of enterprise innovation performance.Therefore,this paper aims to deeply explore how relationship embeddedness and resource integration ability affect the innovation performance of enterprises,and put forward corresponding management suggestions for enterprises to carry out innovation activities smoothly and effectively improve innovation performance.This paper makes full reference to the relevant theories and literature studies of relational embeddedness,resource integration capability and innovation performance,builds a theoretical model of the impact of relational embeddedness on innovation performance,takes relational embeddedness as explanatory variable,innovation performance as explained variable,resource integration capability as mediating variable,and designs specific measurement indicators.Through the questionnaire survey and statistical analysis of the employees of enterprises in Guangdong,the following conclusions are drawn: first,the relationship embedment,resource integration ability and innovation performance of most enterprises are average;Second,the relationship embeddedness of an enterprise has a significant promoting effect on its innovation performance.That is,trust,information sharing and joint problem solving among enterprises all have a significant promoting effect on innovation performance.Third,the relationship embeddedness of an enterprise will significantly promote its resource integration ability,that is,the three dimensions of relationship embeddedness,trust,information sharing and joint problem solving,will significantly promote the enterprise’s resource identification ability and resource allocation ability.Fourth,the enterprise’s resource integration ability will significantly promote the enterprise’s innovation performance,that is,the enterprise’s resource recognition ability and resource distribution ability will significantly promote the enterprise’s innovation performance.Fifth,resource integration ability plays a significant mediating effect between relational embeddedness and innovation performance,that is,both resource recognition ability and resource allocation ability can play a significant mediating role between relational embeddedness and innovation performance.Finally,combined with the data analysis results,this paper puts forward specific management suggestions from the aspects of strengthening the network relationship management with cooperative enterprises,attaching importance to and constantly improving the resource integration ability,and actively carrying out innovation activities.The research is helpful for in-depth understanding of the influence of relationship embedment on enterprise innovation performance,and the proposed countermeasures and suggestions are helpful for improving enterprise innovation performance.
