The situation at home and abroad is constantly changing,and all industries face great challenges.If enterprises want to realize economic transformation,innovation is the only way.Therefore,the innovative thinking of employees becomes an essential key factor.As a huge system of systematism and uncertainty,the influencing factors of innovation include not only material dimension,but also innovation confidence dimension.Enterprise innovation is employee innovation,and leaders play a crucial role in this process.No matter from the perspective of strengthening innovation confidence or promoting innovation behavior of employees,the influence of leaders is beyond doubt.In the process of development,the structure of an organization gradually changes from the original centralized structure to the flat decentralized structure.It can be seen that the connection between leaders and subordinates has undergone a qualitative change,and the leader plays a crucial role in this process.Therefore,it is necessary to study the connection between employees’ innovative behavior and leaders’ leadership style.The essence of transformational leadership lies in innovation,which can constantly stimulate the innovation potential of employees and gradually meet their own needs in the process.Based on the psychological dimension of employees,transformational leadership can not only promote employees’ innovative behavior,but also stimulate their confidence in innovation.At the national level,China,as a large developing country,must inspire employees’ confidence in innovation and thus their innovative behavior if it wants to realize national independent innovation.By exploring the influence of transformational leadership on employees’ innovation behavior,this study seeks possible ways to enhance innovation behavior at the individual level,thus driving the improvement of enterprise innovation efficiency,and finally driving the trend of innovation in the whole society,so as to truly realize the strategic goal of strengthening innovation.Based on social cognition theory and individual-environment matching theory,this study proposed the hypothesis that transformational leadership has a positive impact on employee innovation behavior,and introduced the mediating variable of job engagement and the moderating variable of organizational innovation climate.The hypothesis that job involvement plays a mediating role between transformational leadership and employee innovation behavior and that organizational innovation climate plays a moderating role between job involvement and employee innovation behavior is proposed.SPSS26.0 and AMOS24.0 are used to conduct an empirical analysis on 429 sample data.The results show that:(1)Transformational leadership positively promotes employee innovation behavior;(2)Transformational leadership has a significant positive impact on employees’ job involvement;(3)Employees’ innovative behavior is positively promoted by work involvement;(4)Job involvement has a significant mediating effect between transformational leadership and employee innovation behavior;(5)The positive effect of job engagement on employee innovation behavior is limited by the moderating variable of organizational innovation climate.Based on this,this study puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the transformation of leadership style and the generation of employees’ innovative behavior,such as improving the level of transformational leadership within enterprises,encouraging employees to increase their work input,and paying attention to the rendering of innovation atmosphere within organizations,and summarizes the existing research limitations and future prospects of this paper.
