Research On The Evaluation Of Core Technology Innovation Capability Of Chinese Enterprises

At present,the international situation is changing at an accelerated pace.Against the gradual escalation of international science and technology competition and technology blockade,the problem of "neck-jamming" in China’s key core technologies remains prominent.Enhancing the ability to tackle core technologies has become one of the most urgent needs in the 14 th Five-Year Plan and the period ahead to build a world power in science and technology.Therefore,in recent years,China has been strengthening the dominant position of enterprises in science and technology innovation and enhancing their core technology innovation capability.Among them,how to scientifically and correctly evaluate enterprises’ core technology innovation capability is a fundamental and crucial part.This thesis focuses on constructing an index system for evaluating enterprises’ core technology innovation capability,and the main research contents are as follows: Firstly,combing and summarizing relevant literature at home and abroad finds that the current research results on the evaluation of enterprises’ core technological innovation capabilities are relatively lacking,and there is no consensus at the theoretical and practical levels.Secondly,we analyzed and discussed the current situation of China’s enterprise technology innovation capability from the perspective of national policy and enterprise technology innovation input and output.Thirdly,based on the textual contents of "core technology" questioned by 69 listed companies applying for STAR Market,we constructed an evaluation model of enterprises’ core technological innovation capabilities using the grounded theory and explored the inner mechanism of enterprises’ core technological innovation capabilities,and uses the characteristics of patent quantifiability,accessibility and high information representativeness to construct an index system consisting of 5 primary indicators,12 secondary indicators and 23 tertiary indicators.Finally,we selected ten listed genetic testing companies for empirical analysis,combined the two methods of label number share and entropy methods to calculate the comprehensive weight,and proposed corresponding countermeasures for different companies according to the evaluation results.Among them,in the core patent identification stage,this thesis uses the fixed-effects method to eliminate the problem of time cross-section and citation inflation.The study results show that:(1)With the support of favourable national policies,enterprises are increasingly willing to innovate,but there is still a situation where the competitiveness and value of patents are weak.(2)An index system for evaluating the core technological innovation capability of enterprises,which consists of five dimensions:core technology competitiveness,R&D investment capability,continuous independent R&D capability,core technical contribution capability,and real legitimacy,has been formed,and there is a strong internal logic among the dimensions,which exploration clarifies the connotation of core technology innovation capability of enterprises.(3)At this stage,China’s evaluation of the core technology innovation capability of enterprises focuses more on the core technology competitiveness,which is in line with the current development situation and the situation faced by China.The overall level of core technology innovation capability of the sample enterprises is low,the gap between enterprises is significant,and there are differences between different enterprises in various aspects of core technology innovation capability.In summary,this thesis makes use of the natural emergent characteristics of grounded theory research questions and theories,constructs an index system for evaluating the core technology innovation capability of enterprises based on Chinese realistic textual data,and conducts an empirical analysis,realizing the integration of two research fields: core technology identification and enterprise technology innovation capability evaluation,effectively making up for the shortage of research in this field,with strong theoretical value and practical guidance significance.
