Knowledge is very important for business development.Now Lao multinational enterprises are also paying more and more attention to knowledge sharing,but at present there is a lack of research on knowle dge sharing of employees of Lao multinational enterprises in academic cir cles.In the process of enterprise’s own knowledge management,employees share knowledge achievements,which can effectively help the enterprise to exert the knowledge value created b y its employees,thereby motivating employees to attach importance to kno wledge,strengthen practice summary,and form an experience base.Using the original knowledge,after processing,updating,to create new knowledge.All in all,knowledge sharing is a n important factor affecting the success or failure of knowledge manageme nt implementation.By reading the previous literature,we can draw the conclusion that in Lao business studies,scholars have studied the effectiveness of knowledge management,but research on the impact of knowledge sharing among employees is relatively rare.Referring to cognitive-emotional research and based on social identity theory,this paper proposes two paths through which knowledge sharing affects employee job performance: one is the cognitive path,that is,knowledge sharing affects job performance through insider identity perception,and employee insider identity perception is in the The mediating role between knowledge sharing and employee job performance;the second is the emotional path,that is,knowledge sharing affects job performance through emotional commitment,and the mediating role of employee emotional commitment between knowledge sharing and employee job performance.The results of the study found that the knowled ge sharing of employees in Lao multinational enterprises has a significan t positive impact on employee job performance,and employee emotional commitment and insider identity perception have a mediating role between employee knowledge sharing and employee job performance in multinational enterprises.Finally,this paper proposes specific measures to improve employee knowledge sharing in Lao multinational enterprises and promote employee work performance,so as to help Lao multinational enterprises understan d the role of knowledge sharing on employee work performance.Managers of multinational enterprises need to pay attention to knowledge sharing among employees in the enterprise,and create conditions and opportunities for knowledge sharing.Pay attention t o the management of knowledge system,establish knowledge sharing informa tion system,design knowledge sharing tools,and establish knowledge sharing evaluation mechanism.Strengthen the communication and interaction of different units and subjects at different levels,promote enterprise learning,and consolidate and make good use of existing learning resources.
