There are various risky situations in daily work and life.In the face of constant changes in the internal and external environment, especially during the epidemic period, the operating pressure has increased sharply. Many employees, managers, and operators have fallen into job burnout. It is necessary to make continuous decisions and judgments.Risks and opportunities are implied in each risk decision. Therefore, the risk cognition model and decision-making model in the face of risk situations are particularly important, which will profoundly affect personal and organizational gains and losses.Although how to make decisions in risky situations has always been a research hot spot in the fields of economics and psychology, few studies have explored the impact of stress and emotional state at work on the degree of risk in decision-making,and most of the research related to risky decision-making is variable One-way relationship with risk decision-making,ignoring the impact of cognitive differences on risk decision-making.Based on this, this study explores the relationship between job burnout and risk decision-making and the mediating role of opportunity and threat perception based on cognitive resource theory and dual process theory, and proposes hypotheses. This study includes experimental measurements and scale measurements, and uses a variety of measurement tools to validate the data model based on simulated tasks and real work situations. In Study 1,The Balloon Analogue Risk Task was used to measure risk decision-making behaviors, and a total of 229 valid samples were collected by matching the sample questionnaires with the experimental results. In Study 2,a total of 270 valid samples were collected from the risk decision-making situation questionnaire. Our research uses SPSS 21.0 to collect and organize the data and adopt statistical methods such as descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, etc.,to verify the model and hypothesis. The study draws the following conclusions: Individuals with job burnout may produce more risky decisions and may produce more avoidant decisions, and at the same time, opportunistic threat perception plays a mediating role between job burnout and risky decisionmaking.Individuals with high levels of burnout have more risky decision making behaviors in situations dominated by opportunity perceptions and more conservative decision making behaviors in situations dominated by threat perceptions.Based on the research conclusions, this research puts forward suggestions: when job burnout occurs, decision makers should maintain a clear awareness of risks, and enhance their risk cognitive ability by acquiring more risk knowledge and risk information.Managers should also pay attention to employees with burnout and correct them in time, and enhance employees’ risk event information collection ability and judgment ability to prevent the occurrence of irrational decision-making behavior. This study reveals the mechanism of job burnout on risk decision-making behavior, expands the research on the impact of occupational burnout and the "polarization" effect on cognition and decision-making.
