With the steady rise of market economy and the continuous expansion of enterprise scale,the level of strategic management ability has become the key for enterprises to move towards a long-term road.Middle managers are the main executors of enterprise strategic planning,and the implementation effect of enterprise strategic planning mainly depends on their work performance.Moreover,middle managers are the core employees of modern enterprises,and their professionalism and business ability are directly related to the implementation progress of enterprise business objectives and strategic planning.Based on this,enterprises should establish an effective supporting performance appraisal mechanism for middle-level managers,help them clarify their career planning and work direction,stimulate their enthusiasm and motivation,and make corresponding contributions to the realization of the company’s strategy.How to formulate a more scientific and efficient performance evaluation system for middle managers and improve their work enthusiasm and motivation with this system is not only the core problem of human resource management in enterprises,but also an urgent problem to be solved in modern enterprises,especially state-owned enterprises.This paper chooses SHAANGU GROUP as the research object,investigates and analyzes the actual situation of performance appraisal of middle managers in the company from the theoretical and practical perspectives,summarizes the existing problems in the company,and then deeply analyzes the causes of these problems.On the basis of analyzing the problems and reasons,aiming at establishing and perfecting the performance evaluation system,this paper puts forward an improved performance evaluation scheme for middle managers of SHAANGU GROUP.The content of this study consists of the following parts: Firstly,the significance and content of this study are introduced in detail;Secondly,it introduces the research literature published by domestic and foreign scholars around the theme of performance appraisal,and summarizes valuable theoretical viewpoints;Then,comprehensively analyze the current performance appraisal of middle managers in SHAANGU GROUP,find out specific problems and analyze the reasons;Then,a set of performance appraisal scheme for middle managers suitable for SHAANGU GROUP is formulated in detail,including content,structure,implementation steps and so on.Finally,it summarizes the safeguard measures needed to implement the performance appraisal scheme.This paper briefly summarizes the commonly used performance appraisal system at present,forms a systematic understanding of the performance appraisal system adopted by SHAANGU GROUP for middle managers,and summarizes the main problems faced by the company from the aspects of evaluation indicators and evaluation feedback.In this paper,BSC,key performance indicators and other performance management tools are used to construct the middle-level performance appraisal system of SHAANGU GROUP,determine the key performance indicators of middle-level supervisors in finance,marketing,production,human resources,administration and other departments,and form a brand-new performance appraisal system for middle-level managers.
