The real estate industry has always been an important mainstay of our economic development,which plays a great role in promoting the economic development.However,in the past development,the industry mainly focused on the expansion of scale,while ignoring the improvement of service quality.In recent years,as the country emphasizes the residential attribute of housing,so the real estate industry has shifted from scale development to quality development,with special emphasis on service quality,which tests the innovation ability of front-line service personnel.It is worth mentioning that front-line service personnel usually work in teams,so team leadership plays a crucial role in fostering creativity.In the past,the relationship between team leadership and creativity has received extensive attention.However,these studies mainly focus on international leadership types,such as transformational leadership,and effectively explore the impact of team leadership on members’ creativity in both Chinese and foreign countries.This study focuses on exploring the influence of paternalistic leadership with Chinese cultural characteristics on team members’ creativity.Specifically,this study takes real estate sales team as the research object to explore and test the mechanism of paternalistic leadership’s influence on team members’ creativity.We also considered the effects of member empathy and member resilience.Empathy refers to the ability to perceive and understand among members,which can promote communication and collaboration among members and enhance creativity.Member resilience refers to the ability of members to cope with pressure and frustration,which can help team member to cope with challenges and difficulties,thus improving creativity.We’ll explore how these factors interact and the mechanisms by which they affect the creativity of team members.We establish a paternalistic leader-member empathy-member creativity model and examine the boundary effects of member resilience.Namely,the moderating effect of member psychological resilience on paternalistic leader-member empathy-member creativity path.This paper firstly sorted out the research literature on employee creativity,paternalistic leadership,empathy and resilience at workplace,proposed the hypothesis of this research according to the theory of resource conservation,and completed the construction of the research model on this basis.Then,the questionnaire was designed by referring to the scale widely used in the academic world and with strong authority.A total of 495 valid questionnaires were obtained.After collecting the questionnaires,SPSS26.0 and AMOS26.0 were mainly used in this paper to analyze the data.On the basis of meeting the requirements of reliability and validity,the hypotheses proposed in this paper were tested by hierarchical regression analysis,and the final conclusions were as follows:First,paternalistic leadership has a significant impact on team member creativity,among which benevolent and moral leadership has a significant positive impact,while authoritarian leadership has a negative correlation.Second,Paternalistic leadership also has a self-evident among which benevolent and moral leadership has an impact on member empathy,significant positive,but authoritarian leadership has a significant negative.Third,member empathy has an apparent positive impact on member creativity,and partially mediates the relationship between paternalistic and its various dimensions and member creativity;Fourth,member resilience at workplace significantly moderates the relationship between member empathy and member creativity.For individuals with low resilience level,empathy plays a stronger role in mediating the relationship between paternalistic leadership and team member creativity.Through model analysis,the interaction mechanism between member creativity and paternalistic team leadership is studied and verified,which can effectively expand the research model of paternalistic team leadership on member creativity.The research conclusions can also provide some reference for enterprise management and managers.At the same time,few studies have included member empathy and member resilience at workplace into the pathway model of leadership style’s impact on member creativity.This study enriches the existing studies on member empathy and member resilience at workplace.
