Employee creativity is the unique and novel and potentially valuable idea that employees generate about their products,services,and technologies at work,and it is critical to driving business innovation and success.Employee creativity is influenced by many environmental factors,and leadership behavior is one of the most direct factors.Because employees often choose the right behavior through the interpretation of leadership behavior.In many leadership behaviors,ethical leadership has received widespread attention in recent years.Ethical leadership means that leaders motivate employees to demonstrate compliance through their own role models and interpersonal interactions.And use measures such as communication,rewards and punishments to encourage employees to make ethical behaviors.Leader-member exchange is a measure of the relationship between leaders and employees,and it is influenced by leaders.It also has an impact on employee creativity.Therefore,this study introduces leader-member exchange,exploring whether the relationship between ethical leadership and employee creativity is influenced by leader-member exchange.Employee creativity is also regulated by individual factors,so this study introduces creativity self-efficacy,exploring whether it plays a regulatory role between ethical leadership,leader-member exchange and employee creativity.This study attempts to study the intrinsic influence mechanism of moral leadership on employee creativity.In this study,521 employees from Jiangsu,Zhejiang and Shanghai were selected as research subjects,and a questionnaire survey was conducted using the ethical leadership scale,the leader-member exchange scale,the creativity self-efficacy scale and the employee creation power table.Trying to explore the relationship between ethical leadership and employee creativity,as well as the role of leader-member exchange and creativity self-efficacy,draws the following conclusions:(1)Ethical leadership has a significant positive impact on employee creativity;(2)There is a significant positive correlation between ethical leadership,leader-member exchange and employee creativity.Leader-member exchange has a mediating effect between ethical leadership and employee creativity;(3)Creativity self-efficacy has a regulating role in the intermediary process of ethical leadership?leader-member exchange?employee creativity,and the four variables constitute a regulated intermediary model.Among them,creativity self-efficacy positively regulates the direct path of ethical leadership?employee creativi-ty,and the latter half of the mediation effect.Based on the above research results,you can find:ethical leadership has a significant positive impact on employee creativity.Leader-member exchanges mediate the impact of ethical leadership on employee creativity.Creativity self-efficacy regulate the positive impact of ethical leadership on employee creativity,and it also regulates the intermediary role of leader-member exchange between ethical leadership and employee creativity.
