According to China’s ICT statistics,the scale of China’s digital economy and the proportion of the digital economy to GDP are increasing year by year,driven by digital technology,digital transformation will become a necessary path from a manufacturing power to a manufacturing power in China,and is one of the important tasks of China’s economic shift to high-quality development.Since 2015,medical reform has entered a critical stage,and various pharmaceutical industry policies have been released intensively.Cost control and price reduction has become the theme of pharmaceutical reform,so prices,costs and other market factors will force companies in various parts of the pharmaceutical industry to adopt digital technology to improve efficiency and reduce costs.At the same time,the test faced by the medical industry in the battle against the new crown pneumonia epidemic will become a catalyst and gas pedal for its transformation and development.In such a context,the pharmaceutical industry must follow the trend and adapt to the general trend of digital development,actively seek new and sudden changes,accelerate its own integration with digital technology,and enhance enterprise value.In recent years,scholars at home and abroad have produced rich theoretical results on the motivation and performance of digital transformation,but there are fewer studies on the specific paths and results evaluation of digital transformation affecting enterprise value creation.In addition,because there are some misalignments between theoretical research and practice,it is necessary to conduct specific research on enterprise digital transformation with actual cases.In this thesis,we use a combination of literature analysis and case study analysis to form a literature review section by combing the theoretical literature on digital transformation and the impact of digital transformation on value creation at home and abroad,and organize and summarize the theoretical basis accordingly,which is used as the starting point for the case study.In the case study section,Yunnan Baiyao is selected as the research object,and firstly,the specific path of digital transformation affecting its value creation is analyzed from four perspectives: starting point,production process,operation process and sales process;secondly,through the cross-sectional and vertical comparison of relevant financial and non-financial data of Yunnan Baiyao from 2015-2021,the impact of digital transformation on each index is summarized Finally,based on the previous analysis,relevant conclusions and insights are explored to provide reference for the digital transformation of other enterprises in the same industry.This thesis summarizes the paths of digital transformation on enterprise value creation as follows: first,with the embedding of digital technology in the whole process of the enterprise,the output rate of the original production factors is expanded,i.e.,with the use of digital technology in the production and operation process,the ability to use and allocate production factors is improved,and the efficiency of their inputs and outputs is improved,and at the same time,based on digital technology,data can become a new production factor and join the enterprise Second,based on the perspective of process reengineering,digital transformation has comprehensively overturned the original production process and realized production automation and intelligence;based on the perspective of resource scheduling,digital transformation provides accurate information basis for enterprise decision-making,thus replacing empirical decision-making and improving the accuracy and efficiency of resource allocation;based on the perspective of collaborative evolution,digital transformation expands and opens up the enterprise Based on the perspective of collaborative evolution,digital transformation expands and opens up the boundaries of enterprises,enabling them to form an open ecology with customers and upstream and downstream of the industrial chain,improve efficiency through internal and external collaborative evolution,and finally realize the value growth of enterprises and value co-creation of the industrial ecology.Through the above path,digital transformation has a disruptive impact on the source and process of value creation,and ultimately affects the outcome of value creation.This thesis draws the following insights from the study of the Yunnan Baiyao case: first,digital transformation is the process of increasing enterprise value rather than the purpose,that is,to achieve the impact on value is the organic combination of digital and the original process of the enterprise,rather than the simple application of digital technology.Secondly,the digital transformation of enterprises should formulate the corresponding top-level design according to their own situation and market situation,and continuously improve and promote through the long-cycle robust iteration of planning and design and the short-cycle rapid iteration of platform capability,and through the chain of "single point breakthrough-user demand-driven-stakeholder demand-driven",from point to point,the digital framework will be embedded into the whole process of enterprises.The digitalization framework is embedded in the whole process of the enterprise from point to point.Third,in the process of digital transformation,enterprises should abandon the original product-led logic and guide production and operation with service-led logic and service ecology logic to maximize the value-added effect of digital transformation.
