| With the comprehensive progress of urbanization and agricultural modernization process, the comparative economic benefits of agriculture have declined rapidly, and a large number of rural labor force outflow.A series of problems, such as low land use intensity, extensive business model,large-area seasonal abandoned farmland and abandonment, have become prominent. As the most core behavior subject and important part in the process of rural land use,the change of farmers’ land use behavior plays an important role in the use of land resources and agricultural development and directly affects the food security and ecological security of land.Farmers ’land use behavior also has the dual attributes of nature and society, which is jointly restricted by farmers’ own characteristics and external environment. Therefore,it is very necessary to clarify the change of land use behavior and influencing factors of farmers in different types and different regions in the process of urbanization, which is of great significance to improve the efficiency of rural cultivated land resources, improve the income of farmers’ income and realize the sustainable development of rural land.Based on the theory of farmer behavior, economic incentive theory and man-land relationship,900 farmers from 15 administrative villages in Hubei Province are selected to analyze the characteristics and trends of farmer land use behavior;using data envelope analysis(DEA),Tobit regression model and multiple linear regression model to analyze the influencing factors of land use mode, land use degree and land use intensity. The main conclusions are as follows::(1)The type differentiation of peasant households in the study area was significant. The land use methods of different types of farmers in the sample area are basically similar, with food crops mainly rice and cash crops mainly oil. With the increase of part-time degree, the land use intensity and multiple cropping index of farmers pay more attention to the green health of agricultural products rather than economic profits;part-time farmers gradually adopt capital instead of labor input for agricultural production(2)The land use behavior of the sample farmers showed obvious regional differentiation characteristics.Farmers in plain areas are more diversified and balanced;mechanized farming is common in plain areas;hilly areas and mountainous areas are mainly rice and other grain crops yield is very low;plain areas are flat and open, planting types and scale benefits of agricultural planting;land use in mountainous and hilly areas is still dominated by manpower.(3)Household land use behavior is mainly influenced by the basic characteristics of the family, farmers’ farming situation, land resource endowment and planting willingness. From the perspective of farmer differentiation, the factors affecting the land use behavior of different types of farmers show obvious differences. The land use behavior of pure farmers is mainly affected by the land resource endowment;I and Ⅱfarmers are mainly affected by the basic characteristics. From the perspective of regional distribution, the factors affecting Household land use behavior in different terrain show obvious differences.Farmers’ land use in hilly areas is mainly influenced by the basic characteristics of families, and farmers in plain and mountainous areas is mainly affected by land resource endowment... |
