| Currently, our country has built a well-off society in all respects, and the people’s living standard has stepped up a new stage. However, entering the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,China is still faced with the problem of unbalanced and inadequate development, and the gap between the rich and the poor is still large. Therefore, how to achieve common prosperity to benefit all the people has become an important task to be solved.Eliminating the gap between urban and rural areas, regions and groups is an important prerequisite for achieving common prosperity. The academic community has done a lot of research on this basis, but there is still a lot of room for the research on the income gap within rural residents. The common prosperity of all the people requires not only the narrowing of urban-rural and regional disparities, but also the narrowing of income gaps within urban and rural residents.Unfortunately, there are few studies in this area. From the current situation, the income gap within rural residents is far higher than that between urban and rural areas and within cities and towns, and the income gap between rural residents shows a widening trend, becoming an obstacle to the overall process of common prosperity and becoming a short board in the transition to the "olive type" income distribution structure. Therefore,it is very important to study the internal income gap of rural residents and optimize the income structure.Based on this, the main research content of this paper is to re-examine the current income gap and income distribution structure of rural residents in combination with the background and practical characteristics of the era of common prosperity, investigate the current income gap and sources of different income subgroups of rural residents, and explore its optimization path.Due to the large number of rural residents, individual heterogeneity exists among different income subgroups, and the influence of policy input and factor endowment on different income subgroups is significantly different. Therefore, this paper focuses on analyzing the influence of various factors on the heterogeneity of different income subgroups in rural areas,in order to narrow the internal income gap of rural residents, optimize their income structure, and provide decision-making reference for realizing the "olive type" income distribution pattern. In accordance with the logical framework of "proposal-analysis-solution",this paper expounds the background and research significance of the topic, and then introduces the research methods, research ideas, and possible innovations and shortcomings. The relevant theories are sorted out, especially the domestic and foreign studies on income distribution structure and income gap of rural residents are reviewed. This paper also analyzes the status quo of internal income distribution of rural residents under the background of common prosperity from the perspective of whole and income groups, and expounds the reality of the internal income gap and income distribution structure of rural residents and the barrier factors facing the income distribution structure. On the basis of analysis and research, the paper reveals the "three mechanisms" of optimizing the internal income distribution structure of rural residents, expounds the logical correlation between the "three mechanisms" and the transmission effect of the "three mechanisms",and puts forward the precise measures for rural residents with different income segments. On the basis of theoretical analysis, this paper applies the unconditional quantile regression method based on the redistribution effect function(RIF)proposed by Firpo et al.(2009)to analyze the micro survey data of China Household Finance Survey(CHFS)in 2019,focusing on observing the heterogeneity of different factors on rural income quintile groups. The conclusion of theoretical analysis is further tested empirically. Finally, according to the conclusion of theoretical analysis and empirical test, relevant policy suggestions are put forward. The study found that there is a large gap in the internal income of rural residents in China, and the income distribution structure is unreasonable; The influencing factors are systematic and multi-dimensional.The micro factors such as human capital, material capital and social connection in factor endowment, and the macro factors such as organizational system, social security and policy evolution all play a vital role in the income gap and even the income distribution structure of rural residents. In the same period, the effect direction of each factor is different, and the influence path of each factor on rural residents’ income is not the same, which has both horizontal influence and structural difference. Therefore,it is necessary to adopt accurate policies according to local conditions and local conditions. |
