Promoting high-quality development of China’s economy is the theme of economic development during the "14th Five Year Plan" period, and it is also the foundation for maintaining the healthy development of China’s economy. The "No.1central document" clearly indicates that it is necessary to focus on agricultural development and comprehensively promote rural revitalization when promoting the healthy and sustainable development of China’s economy.Promoting high-quality agricultural development and entering a new stage of agricultural development is an unavoidable task for China today.Digital inclusive finance, with its "digital" and "inclusive" characteristics, has to some extent alleviated the financial exclusion of traditional finance from rural areas. This article explores whether digital inclusive finance has an impact on the high-quality development of agriculture,as well as the heterogeneity of the impact mechanism and impact, with a view to providing data support and useful thinking for promoting high-quality agricultural development in China and promoting rural revitalization and development strategies.Firstly, based on financial development theory, the article analyzes the mechanism that digital inclusive finance affects the high-quality development of agriculture; Then, based on the new development concept and understanding of the connotation of high-quality economic development,an evaluation index system for high-quality agricultural development in China was constructed from five dimensions, and entropy method was used for index synthesis;Secondly, establish a dual fixed effect model,a spatial Dubin model, and an intermediary effect model for empirical testing, and further carry out heterogeneity analysis and robustness testing; Finally, put forward corresponding policy recommendations. The research results show that: First, the development of digital inclusive finance in China has generally shown an upward trend of "fast first and then slow" growth rate during the period 2011-2020,while the development of high-quality agriculture has generally shown a slow upward trend in a fluctuating manner, with regional differences.Secondly, digital inclusive finance can significantly promote the highquality development of agriculture.Among them, the promotion effect of depth of use and degree of digitization is significant, but the coverage is not significant.Thirdly,in addition to improving the high-quality development level of agriculture in the region, digital inclusive finance can also promote high-quality development of agriculture in neighboring regions, that is,there is a positive spatial spillover effect, and the spatial spillover effect is significant.Fourth, the intermediary effect test results show that digital inclusive finance can promote high-quality agricultural development by improving the degree of agricultural mechanization.Fifthly, the heterogeneity analysis shows that different levels of development of digital inclusive finance and different agricultural resource endowments make significant differences in the promotion effect of digital inclusive finance. Therefore, the article puts forward the following suggestions: First,we should improve the construction of the digital inclusive financial system, strengthen financial supervision and digital infrastructure construction to ensure the operational environment of digital inclusive finance;Secondly,it is necessary to strengthen exchanges and cooperation among various regions to form a demonstration effect; Finally, promote the development of agricultural mechanization and build a multi-level digital inclusive financial system based on local conditions to promote high-quality agricultural development.
