Study On The Synergistic Evaluation Of Traditional Industries And Strategic Emerging Industries In Chengdu

Traditional industries have a greater pulling effect on economic growth and remain the important economic development in China for a long time;while strategic emerging industries represent the future direction of science and technology and industrial development,and have a global driving and significant leading role in China’s economic and social development.As an important part of accelerating the construction of modern industrial system,the upgrading of traditional industries and the development and growth of strategic new industries can help promote the optimization and upgrading of China’s industrial structure and support the high-quality development of economy and society.Chengdu is an important nucleus of the twin-city economic circle in Chengdu-Chongqing region,and the national strategy of building the twin-city economic circle in Chengdu-Chongqing region has given Chengdu the mission of the times to make its industrial support bigger,better and stronger and give full play to its important nucleus function.In view of this,it is very important to sort out the development status of traditional industries and strategic emerging industries in Chengdu,measure the degree of synergistic development of traditional industries and strategic emerging industries in Chengdu,analyze the factors affecting the synergistic development of both,and explore the path to promote the synergistic development of both,in order to support the high-quality development of Chengdu’s economy and society,and better shoulder the mission of the twin-city economic circle in Chengdu-Chongqing region.It has theoretical significance and practical significance.Firstly,this paper explains the connotation and characteristics of traditional industries and strategic emerging industries,reviews industrial evolution theory,industrial life cycle theory and synergy theory,and composes and evaluates the relevant literature on the synergistic development of traditional industries and strategic emerging industries.Secondly,the development status of traditional industries and strategic emerging industries in Chengdu is analyzed,the degree of synergistic development between them is measured,and the influence of policy support,technological innovation and human capital on the degree of synergy is discussed.It is found that from 2011 to 2020,the degree of coupling and coordination between traditional industries and strategic emerging industries in Chengdu develops from extremely dysfunctional to well coordinated,and there are significant positive effects of policy support,technological innovation capability and human capital level on the degree of coupling and coordination between the two types of industries,with policy support being the most influential factor.Finally,countermeasures to promote the coordinated development of traditional industries and strategic emerging industries in Chengdu are proposed,including strengthening policy support,improving technological innovation capacity,human capital level and improving new infrastructure.
