| Knowledge sharing plays a very important role in the long-term development and innovation of an enterprise,so knowledge sharing behavior has always been the focus of knowledge management.If an enterprise wants to effectively transform the knowledge of individual employees into enterprise knowledge,it needs to encourage employees to actively engage in knowledge sharing behavior.All factors that will affect employees’ knowledge sharing behavior deserve attention.Research on work interruption shows that work interruption will not only have a positive or negative impact on employees’ performance,but also has a certain impact on employees’ well-being,thereby affecting their behavior.With the development of technology and the promotion of open offices,work interruption has gradually become the norm in work,and enterprises have to face a series of impacts caused by work interruption.At present,work interruption has become universal and unavoidable in enterprises.Its impact on knowledge sharing behavior is worth studying.How to reduce the impact of work interruption has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper reviews the research of work interruption and knowledge sharing behavior,puts forward the basic hypothesis that work interruption has a negative impact on knowledge sharing behavior on the basis of Conservation of Resources Theory,and discusses the mediation of psychological benefit impairment between them and the moderation effect of agreeableness on the relationship between work interruption and psychological benefit impairment from the perspective of resources.This study collected sample data by means of situational experiments(research 1 and2)and questionnaires(research 3),and used SPSS and its plug-in Process for data analysis to explore the impact of work interruption on individual knowledge sharing behavior.The conclusions are as follows: Work interruption has a significant negative impact on knowledge sharing behavior;The psychological benefit impairment plays a part of mediation role between work interruption and knowledge sharing behavior;Agreeableness plays a negative role in moderating the relationship between work interruption and psychological benefit impairment.Therefore,this paper calls on enterprises to pay attention to the widespread phenomenon of work interruption and its possible negative impact on employees’ psychology,and reduce the frequency of work interruption by setting up a separate work space or encouraging employees to conduct time management,so as to reduce the negative impact of work interruption from the source.When work interruption is unavoidable,the negative impact of work interruption on knowledge sharing behavior can be reduced by training employees’ emotional intelligence and concentration ability and assigning employees with high agreeableness to key positions.The innovation of this paper is reflected in three aspects: variable selection innovation,theoretical perspective innovation and transmission path innovation: previous research on work interruption focused more on the short-term impact on individuals,and research on knowledge sharing behavior also focused more on how to promote knowledge sharing behavior.This paper combines work interruption and knowledge sharing behavior to explore the impact of work interruption on individual subsequent behavior,which is the negative impact on knowledge sharing behavior.In the past,most of the researches on knowledge sharing behavior used Social Exchange Theory and Self-Determination Theory.In this paper,Conservation of Resources Theory is used to explain why work interruption has a negative impact on knowledge sharing behavior,which provides a new perspective for the research on knowledge sharing behavior.The selection of mediator in this study can well connect work interruption and knowledge sharing behavior,and at the same time,include the agreeableness,one of personal characteristics,as a moderator,making the whole research model more comprehensive and reasonable. |
