Based on the requirements of the prosperity of the rural revitalization strategy industry,the edible mushroom industry,as an agricultural characteristic industry,has played an important role in promoting the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy and leading farmers to get rid of poverty and become rich.In recent years,the local edible mushroom industry in Mianyang City has developed rapidly,and the social conditions are superior.More and more farmers choose to engage in the edible mushroom industry.How is the production efficiency of edible mushroom,and which type of edible mushroom has the highest production efficiency.This is the theoretical and practical problem facing the development of edible mushroom industry in Mianyang City.Through literature review,it is found that there are few studies on edible mushroom in Mianyang,so it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the production efficiency and influencing factors of edible mushroom growers.In this paper,relevant references are sorted out,relevant concepts are defined and analyzed based on input-output theory,production efficiency theory,farmer behavior theory and return to scale theory.The development status of edible mushroom industry in Mianyang City was introduced.According to the survey,the main edible mushroom production varieties in Mianyang city are morel,oyster mushroom and xianggu.The output of these three edible mushrooms accounts for 85% of the total output.For these three kinds of edible mushrooms growers,a survey was conducted among representative growers in each district and county of Mianyang City,and descriptive statistical analysis was carried out according to the survey results,The evaluation index system was constructed by DEA to evaluate the production efficiency of three types of edible mushroom growers.On this basis,the influencing factors of production efficiency were studied by using tobit regression analysis method.The empirical results showed that the production efficiency of main edible mushroom growers in Mianyang city was 0.767,0.822 and 0.873.respectively,The production efficiency of edible mushroom growers in Mianyang City was generally at an above medium level,but there were some differences in the production efficiency of various mushroom.The comprehensive production efficiency of xianggu growers was the highest among the three main edible mushroom varieties,followed by oyster mushroom and morel.The main factors affecting the production efficiency of edible mushroom growers are discussed.For morchella growers,education level,training frequency and sales price will have a significant positive impact on the production efficiency;for oyster mushroom growers,education level,years of edible mushroom industry and training frequency will have a significant positive impact;for xianggu mushroom growers,The education level of growers,the years of mushroom practice,and the number of training had a significant positive impact,while the scale of edible mushroom production had a negative impact.Based on the above research conclusions,the suggestions for local edible mushroom growers in Mianyang City are to improve the management of edible mushroom industry and strengthen policy support for farmers;Integrate the resources of growers,and carry out large-scale development;Guide farmers to actively participate in training and provide professional level;Strengthen the reserve of highly educated talents to create professional candidates;Improve the market information of edible mushroom,expand the sales channels of growers.
