The Measurement Of Collaborative Agglomeration Level Of Logistics Industry And Manufacturing Industry Based On Micro-enterprise Data

Under the policy demand of deep convergence and innovation development between logistics industry and manufacturing industry,the current convergence of logistics industry and manufacturing industry still has problems such as misalignment of supply and demand,too narrow scope,too high cost and lack of full-chain solutions.In this context,it is especially important to measure the level of collaborative agglomeration between logistics industry and manufacturing industry scientifically and accurately.This article takes the city proper of Chongqing as the research area,based on the micro-enterprise data of logistics industry and manufacturing industry from 1949 to 2020,using spatial analysis methods such as kernel density analysis and standard deviation ellipse analysis,quantitative methods such as modified E-G co-agglomeration index and industry convergence index,and regression analysis methods such as OLS regression and geographically and temporally weighted regression,to explore the collaborative agglomeration relationship between logistics industry and manufacturing industry from three perspectives of location convergence,industry convergence and efficiency driven respectively.The following conclusions are drawn in the article.(1)From the perspective of location convergence,logistics industry and manufacturing industry have obvious convergence characteristics in location.Firstly,the spatial distribution of logistics enterprises and manufacturing enterprises is similar,because the distribution of enterprises of the two industries is concentrated in the western part of the central city,and the agglomeration degree in the central city shows an increasing trend,while the districts and counties in the new area of main city also show sporadic clustering distribution.Secondly,the convergence degree of logistics industry and manufacturing industry based on industrial specialization shows a rising trend in general,and the characteristics of location convergence are more obvious in the new area of main city.Finally,the distribution direction of the two industries changes basically the same,and the center of gravity moves to the northwest direction,while the coverage in the northwest direction is more extensive.(2)From the perspective of industry convergence,the level of linkage between logistics industry and manufacturing industry based on the E-G co-agglomeration index is higher and the collaborative agglomeration activities are closer,but from the results of the industry convergence index,the overall level of convergence between the two industries in each district is lower.Based on the results measured by the E-G co-agglomeration index,the average linkage level of logistics industry and manufacturing category and the four manufacturing subcategories are all higher than 2.5 in the city proper of Chongqing,indicating that their level of linkage is relatively high.On the contrary,the results of the industry convergence index show that the average value of industry convergence in each district is less than 0.At the street scale,although there are streets with industry convergence greater than 0,the number of such streets does not reach 10% in each period.(3)From the perspective of efficiency driven,logistics agglomeration can significantly improve the efficiency of manufacturing industry,and there is obvious spatiotemporal heterogeneity.From 2007 to 2020,the positive promotion effect of logistics agglomeration on total factor productivity of manufacturing industry has gradually enhanced,and the distribution of positive and negative impact intensity has developed from extremely unbalanced to basically achieving full coverage of positive value areas.Meanwhile,the positive effect of logistics agglomeration on the technological progress rate of manufacturing industry also has increased,and the distribution of positive value areas spreads from the key distribution in the southern region to the whole region.The research results are conducive to understanding the current situation and problems of collaborative agglomeration development between logistics industry and manufacturing industry in the city proper of Chongqing,putting forward targeted suggestions for the optimization of collaborative agglomeration,promoting the deep convergence and innovative development of logistics industry and manufacturing industry,and improving the efficiency of industrial operations and the risk resistance of the supply chain.
