The Research On The Refocusing Strategy Of TEC Company

The country has proposed the policy of supply side structural reform.From the perspective of enterprises,it is to optimize the allocation of resources and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.In general,enterprises are keen to expand their scale and increase their market value,but they are cautious about strategic refocusing,which is easy to cause enterprises to be dragged down by inefficient businesses and restrict the development of core competitiveness.This paper analyzes the strategic diversification of TEC,summarizes the development of various businesses during the "13th Five Year Plan" period,and finds that the overall scale of the enterprise is growing slowly,and the overall profitability of the enterprise is declining.The main reason is that due to the impact of the competitive environment,the business structure has been adjusted,leading to the difficulty in matching resources with the development of various businesses.For this reason,this paper uses GE matrix to analyze the status of each business,and defines the core business,potential business and non-core business to be disposed that need continuous investment and development.Then,based on the actual situation of the enterprise,the strategic adjustment plan of business refocusing was formulated: on the one hand,continuously strengthen the resource investment in advantageous business and potential business to strengthen the core competitiveness;On the other hand,it was decided to withdraw from the business of composite busbar and shock absorber,release relevant resources,and formulate a business withdrawal plan and guarantee mechanism in line with the actual situation.Finally,from both qualitative and quantitative aspects,the process and results of the implementation of strategic refocusing were post evaluated,and it was found that certain results had been achieved,and a case of enterprise knowledge management was formed.The research in this paper can provide reference for the refocusing of relevant enterprises’ strategies,and help different enterprises combine their own characteristics to promote efficient resource allocation and enhance their comprehensive competitiveness.
