| With the increasing complexity of external environment and market competition,managers gradually realize that employee input is the premise for organizations to obtain competitive advantages.However,due to the impact of COVID-19 and the global economic downturn,the current high dimission rate of employees in China,depressed work status,low work involvement and even deviant behavior have become social problems that need to be solved by the management community.Enterprises have formulated policies and taken social responsibility participation practice as an effective means of motivating employees to invest.Therefore,it is extremely important to study whether and how CSR participation affects employee engagement in the context of increasing social pressure.On the basis of the psychological ownership theory,corporate social responsibility participation in this study as the independent variables,psychological ownership as mediation,employee engagement as dependent variable,and perceived importance of corporate social responsibility as moderator.Taking employees of different enterprises as research objects,sample data are obtained through online and offline methods.Collect and eliminate invalid samples,process and analyze valid data by using relevant analysis software and statistical methods(including reliability and validity test,descriptive statistics and correlation analysis,regression analysis),to test whether the research hypothesis is valid and obtain the research results.The empirical results of this paper show that: First,CSR participation has a significant positive impact on employee engagement.Second,the psychological ownership mediated the relationship between CSR participation and employee engagement;Thirdly,for the employees with higher importance of CSR,the positive effect of CSR participation on psychological ownership and employee engagement is more significant.This paper not only depicted the relationship between CSR participation and employee engagement,but also enriched and refined the research of psychological ownership theory.The moderating effect of the perceived the importance of CSR was also explored,which defined the boundary conditions of CSR participation’s positive effects from the perspective of individual differences.This study provides a useful reference for enterprises to improve employees’ psychological ownership and employee engagement.At the same time,how to motivate employees to better practice corporate social responsibility has certain management enlightenment. |
