The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)opened successfully in Beijing,and the Party clearly stated at the 20 th National Congress that the central task of the Party is to unite and lead the people of all ethnic groups throughout the country to build a modern socialist power in an all-round way,realize the second centenary goal,and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization.The blueprint has been depicted,and it is time to forge ahead,and the realization of the grand goals requires continuous reform of the regional development of the central region to achieve the rise of the central region.The rise of the central region requires the formation of regional economic development in central cities to improve the quality and efficiency of the development of the central city circle,and give play to the role of central cities in economic growth.Under the background of the party’s rise to the central region and the call of the national 14 th Five-Year Plan,Hubei Province is stepping on the wave of reform of the times,and the Wuhan urban circle is to take Wuhan as the central city to the surrounding cities: Huangshi,Ezhou,Xiaogan,Huanggang,Xianning,Xiantao,Tianmen,Qianjiang nine cities formed regional development,relying on Wuhan Tianhe International Airport to improve the new momentum of regional development,in the future with Ezhou SF International Airport to form a double hub of passenger and cargo aviation in the Wuhan city circle,seize new opportunities for development,actively layout,and set sail by "plane".It has comprehensively improved the rapid interconnection and interconnection of the Wuhan urban area.The comparative advantages of Wuhan City Circle’s riverside,port,airport and optical valley are gradually being transformed into development advantages and functional advantages,and high-quality commodities at home and abroad are accelerating the accumulation of dense people,logistics,capital and information flows,accelerating the construction of a new highland for Hubei’s opening up.Based on the linkage and coordinated development of the airport economic zone in the Wuhan urban circle,it is of practical significance to study the growth pole function of the airport economic zone for regional development.This paper takes Wuhan Airport Economic Zone and eight cities in Wuhan City Circle as the research objects,searches the data of Wuhan Airport Economic Zone and eight cities in Wuhan City Circle from 2016 to 2020,studies their spatial correlation and regional synergy,and combines the subject knowledge of regional economics,economic synergy and economic geography.The writing idea of this paper is as follows:(1)Focus on sorting out the literature on the development of China’s airport economic zones,and foreign theories on airport economic zones,and deepening the theoretical understanding of airport economic zones.(2)Through the construction of theoretical models through the collated data,the spatial correlation and system development of Wuhan Airport Economic Zone and the eight cities of Wuhan City Circle are empirically analyzed,and the spatial radiation status of Wuhan Tianhe Airport Airport Economic Zone to the eight cities of Wuhan City Circle is obtained.(3)Further construct the synergy evaluation and index model,analyze the interrelationship of the airport economic zone in the Wuhan urban circle,and coordinate the obstacles to development.(4)Put forward opinions on the development of Wuhan City Circle Airport Economic Zone.This paper substitutes the collected data into the gravity model and the synergy model and concludes that in the five years of development of Wuhan Airport Economic Zone and Wuhan City Circle,the economic orientation of each city and Wuhan Airport Economic Zone has increased significantly,and the economic radiation scope of Wuhan Airport Economic Zone has expanded under the development of these five years.With the development of five years,the value of the correlation degree between Wuhan Airport Economic Zone to various cities gradually increases,the economic radiation capacity is only larger for the surrounding cities,and for the cities slightly far away there is a phenomenon of weak economic radiation capacity,the difference between the surrounding cities and the geographical remote cities is widening year by year,which will further lead to the disadvantages of unbalanced economic development in the Wuhan urban circle.Subsequently,using the synergy model area analysis,it is found that the synergy between the Wuhan Airport Economic Zone and all cities in the Wuhan City Circle maintained a benign increase before 2019,but the synergy situation decreased after 2019.The reason for this is that the economic influence and economic driving capacity of the Wuhan Airport Economic Zone are not strong,and the economic growth between cities in the Wuhan metropolitan area is not significant.Objectively,it is also because Wuhan is the central city of the outbreak of the COVID-19 in 2019,which has affected the coordinated development of the Wuhan Airport Economic Zone and various cities in the Wuhan City Circle. |
