Research On The Impact Of Corporate Social Responsibility On The Efficiency Of Resource-based City Transformation

The "14th Five-Year Plan" period is an important period for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.At present,the country’s economic and social development is still in a period of strategic opportunities.The current and future development trend of the country is to promote economic and social transformation and upgrading.How local government departments improve the transformation efficiency of resource-based cities has become an important part of my country’s economic and social transformation.In the process of China’s economic development in recent decades,resource-based cities have played an indelible role.However,with the occurrence of problems such as low resource utilization and serious damage to the ecological environment,it is difficult for its development to form an internal driving force.The past extensive development model is difficult to sustain,and it is imminent to realize the transformation and upgrading of resource-based cities and improve their transformation efficiency.As enterprises are an important part of the urban economy,corporate social responsibility plays an important role in improving the transformation efficiency of resource-based cities.Research on how corporate social responsibility can improve their transformation efficiency has certain practical guiding significance for the sustainable development of resource-based cities.This research from the aspect of corporate social responsibility,selects the scores published in the report on corporate social responsibility of Hexun.com,and weights the total social responsibility scores of urban enterprises according to different cities to represent the corporate social responsibility of each city.This paper discusses the impact of corporate social responsibility on the transformation efficiency of resource-based cities from the theoretical and empirical levels.The theoretical part is mainly to define the concept of transformation efficiency of resource-based cities based on domestic and foreign research results,and to further study the impact mechanism of corporate social responsibility on the transformation efficiency of resource-based cities.The empirical part takes resource-based cities as an example,uses the data from 2011-2020,and uses the super-efficiency SBM model to calculate the transformation efficiency.Finally,through the construction of an empirical model,explore the impact of corporate social responsibility on the transformation efficiency of resource-The empirical research conclusions are basically consistent with the theoretical research hypotheses,mainly including the following aspects: First,undertaking corporate social responsibility can significantly improve the transformation efficiency of resource-based cities.Second,assuming corporate social responsibility has a significant impact on the economic transformation efficiency,social transformation efficiency,and environmental transformation efficiency of resource-based cities.Third,corporate responsibility for shareholders,employees,and the environment all have a significant impact on the transformation efficiency of resource-based cities,while supplier,consumer,and community responsibilities have positive but insignificant effects on the transformation efficiency of resource-based cities.Based on the above theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,the following policy recommendations are put forward: first,continuously strengthen technological innovation at the level of corporate social responsibility;second,actively undertake shareholder responsibilities,employee responsibilities and environmental responsibilities;third,pay attention to suppliers and consumers The fulfillment of responsibility and community responsibility;fourth,the government should create a good social environment for enterprises to undertake social responsibility.
