In order to achieve EL Import and Export Trading Company’s medium and long term goal of "the market value of the company is 1 billion yuan and the sales revenue exceeds 500 million yuan",the company has conducted the overall development strategy research.EL Import and Export Trading Company was founded by me at the beginning of 2019.Its main business is to import and sell auto manufacturing equipment and accessories of European brands,and import and sell non-standard equipment design and manufacturing enterprises in Changchun by acting as an agent for related brand equipment standard parts from Germany and its surrounding European countries.After nearly 4 years of development,the company has survived in the fierce market competition,and the current annual sales revenue is about 50 million.Like most startups,the company has not studied the enterprise development strategy in detail,but passively accepts customer orders for inquiry and delivery,without detailed analysis and grasp of customers’ relevant needs.At the same time,since 2020,the company’s business has experienced the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic,the impact of the China-Us trade war,the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war,and every major international political event,all of which will affect the business development and future development of import and export trading companies.Nowadays,the political pattern of the world is changing rapidly and the economic form is unpredictable.As a start-up company,how to survive and further develop in the complicated situation is faced with huge challenges.If an enterprise can accurately grasp the opportunity,make layout in advance,and choose the right business development field and strategic direction in the era of unprecedented changes in the world,it is very likely to develop and grow rapidly,fight its way out of the fierce market,and stand in the front of the industry.The original intention of this paper is based on the above background.Based on the analysis of the development status of EL Import and Export Trading Company,this paper will determine the existing problems in the current development stage: such as too many products but not refined,no core research and development technology as support;Then combined with the internal and external environment of the company,the overall analysis is carried out,including the political,economic,cultural and technological environment,as well as the analysis of competitors in the same industry,so as to plan and establish the overall strategic positioning and market development layout of the company.Finally,the relevant risks in the implementation of the company’s development strategy are identified and relevant safeguard measures are established to ensure the smooth implementation of the development strategy.By studying the development strategy of machinery and equipment accessories import and export trade enterprises,this topic finally determines the strategic direction of differentiation,centralization,vertical integration,so as to enable enterprises to clearer their own market positioning,less detours,in order to achieve more long-term development;Make the enterprise smoothly through the key turning point from the initial stage to the development stage;In addition,it provides reference for import and export trade enterprises of the same type and development stage.
