Research On The Spatial Network Structure Characteristics Of Digital Inclusive Financial Development In The Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomeration

This article focuses on the spatial network structure characteristics of digital inclusive finance in the Pearl River Delta city cluster,aiming to provide advice for the evolution of digital inclusive finance in the region and seize the opportunities brought by its development.Based on a review of relevant research results,the article analyzes the spatial network structure characteristics of digital inclusive finance in the Pearl River Delta city cluster from three aspects: the overall network structure characteristics,the local spatial network characteristics of digital inclusive finance development,and the spatial clustering characteristics of the digital inclusive finance association network.A modified gravity model is used to measure the spatial structure characteristics of digital inclusive finance in the Pearl River Delta city cluster.The study focuses on nine cities in the Pearl River Delta city cluster,including Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Zhuhai,Foshan,Jiangmen,Dongguan,Zhongshan,Huizhou,and Zhaoqing,and uses data from 2016 to 2021 from sources such as Peking University’s Digital Inclusive Finance Index and the Guangdong Statistical Yearbook.Social network analysis methods are applied,and Netdraw tool in UCINET6.0 software is used to draw the spatial network structure diagram of the evolution in the Pearl River Delta city cluster,and further analyze the overall,local,and spatial clustering characteristics of the spatial network structure of the Pearl River Delta city cluster.The results show that the network density of digital inclusive finance in the Pearl River Delta city cluster is on the rise.Guangzhou and Shenzhen are the leading cities in the digital inclusive finance network of the Pearl River Delta city cluster.The Pearl River Delta city cluster digital inclusive finance network has three regions: the "net outflow" region in the southeast of Guangdong Province,the "net beneficiary" region in the southwest of the Pearl River Delta,and the "broker" region in the northeast of the Pearl River Delta.Based on these research results,the article proposes three suggestions for the development of digital inclusive finance in the Pearl River Delta city cluster: first,focus on optimizing the spatial layout of digital inclusive finance;second,implement a high-quality development strategy for digital inclusive finance tailored to local conditions;and third,establish a long-term mechanism for the high-quality development of digital inclusive finance in the Pearl River Delta city cluster that emphasizes both incentives and regulations.
