With the trend of accelerating economic globalization and financial integration,facing the increasingly severe domestic financial situation,China’s commercial banks have accelerated the development of regional financial risks brought about by the economic downturn.Commercial Bank as an important part of our financial institutions,The merger and reorganization of urban commercial banks is an effective measure to integrate inter-bank resources and become stronger and larger,which has also become one of the effective countermeasures for domestic commercial banks to break through the situation and resolve financial risks.As a financial resources company,SX Bank is a newly-established provincial city commercial bank by merging and recombining five local city commercial banks in the province,which realizes the optimization and integration of financial resources and strengthens the agglomeration effect of financial resources in the province.This paper takes the benefit analysis after the merger and reorganization of urban commercial banks--SX Bank as an example to analyze the economic benefits after the merger and reorganization of urban commercial banks,analyze their development status and existing problems,and then propose targeted development countermeasures.It is hoped that through the research of this paper,we can provide valuable reference suggestions for promoting the management efficiency of urban commercial banks in China and effectively resolving financial risks.This paper adopts the literature review method,case study method,analytic hierarchy process,and analyze the benefits after the merger and reorganization of provincial-level city commercial bank--SX Bank based on the scale economy theory,Market segmentation theory,diversification theory and other relevant theories.Firstly,the article combs the relevant concepts and theoretical knowledge of the merger and reorganization of urban commercial banks,and lays the theoretical foundation for the research.Taking the merger and reorganization of urban commercial banks in recent years as the background,combined with the current situation of SX Bank’s merger management development and its management model,this paper analyzes the cross regional operation and management problems after SX Bank’s merger and reorganization from three aspects: the advantages after SX Bank’s merger and reorganization,the shortcomings after SX Bank’s merger and reorganization,and the challenges after SX Bank’s merger and reorganization;Secondly,the empirical analysis of the operating benefits of SX bank is carried out through analytic hierarchy process.The results show that,compared with before,the merged and reorganized SX bank has achieved a certain degree of improvement in terms of development,profitability,safety and liquidity.Thirdly,based on the benefit analysis of the merger and reorganization of SX Bank,it further puts forward the countermeasures to improve the operating benefit after the merger and reorganization of city commercial bank,including: adhere to the risk prevention,construction the strict monitoring system;Clear development ideas,promote business transformation plan;Optimize the structure of assets and liabilities and improve the profitability of assets;Adhere to financial innovation,promote diversified business development;Advocate thriving a corporate culture.Finally,summarize and make prospects.In a word,Through the case study of SX Bank,the development status and existing problems are analyzed,and targeted improvement measures are proposed.It is hoped that this paper can provide valuable suggestions for the reform of merger and reorganization of urban commercial banks in China,and provide relevant suggestions for the reform of merger and reorganization of other industries in China.
