| Large-scale land management is an important way to improve labor productivity,land output rate and resource utilization.However,the circulation of rural land is insufficient,and the phenomenon of "large country smallholder" is prominent.Land transfer is greatly affected by farmers’ social networks.With the deepening of industrialization and urbanization,labor force transfer and other factors lead to changes in farmers’ social networks,including traditional homogeneous social networks and new heterogeneous social networks.On the one hand,the transfer of rural labor force makes land idle in rural areas,leading to "hollow village" and other problems,which brings opportunities for land transfer.On the other hand,non-agricultural income has become an important source of income for farmers,so that farmers gradually get rid of the situation of living solely on agricultural production and management.Therefore,non-agricultural income is selected as the entry point for social network to affect farmers’ land transfer,and farmers are placed in an environment where old and new social networks coexist.The influence of current social network on farmers’ land transfer is explored,and corresponding measures are taken to promote land transfer.The research idea of this paper is as follows: First,read the existing literature and clarify the relationship among social network,land transfer and non-agricultural income.This paper describes the development status of rural land transfer and the fact of rural social network changes,reviews the literature of relevant studies on influencing factors,social network and non-agricultural income of land transfer,and reviews the research trends at home and abroad.Secondly,it introduces theories based on social network theory,farmer’s behavior theory and land transfer theory.The farmer’s social network is divided into homogenous social network and heterogeneous social network,and the entropy weight method is used to measure its comprehensive index.After reviewing the relevant theories of social network and land transfer,the influence mechanism of social network on farmer’s land transfer behavior is further studied,and the theoretical analysis model and research hypothesis of the influence of social network on land transfer are constructed.Finally,using the microscopic data of CFPS2018,descriptive statistics were used to analyze the basic characteristics of each variable by Stata17.Regression equations were established by robust binary Logit model to explore the effects of farmer’s social network,heterogeneous social network and homogeneous social network on land transfer and land transfer.The endogeneity test and farmer’s income heterogeneity test were carried out for the regression results of robust binary Logit model to make the regression conclusions more reliable.The intermediary effect model is used to test the intermediary effect of non-agricultural income.Finally,according to the empirical analysis results,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)Farmers’ social network significantly promotes farmers’ land transfer and transfer out.According to social network differentiation,the effects of homogenous social network and heterogeneous social network on land transfer are considered respectively,and the regression results are different.Homogeneous social network has no significant effect on land transfer out and land transfer.However,heterogeneous social network plays a significant role in promoting both land transfer and land transfer.At the same time,control variables such as the level of local economic development,the number of family members and the age of the household head also have a significant impact on the land transfer of farmers.(2)The intermediary effect of farmers’ nonagricultural income.Non-agricultural income plays a mediating effect in the process of land transfer from heterogeneous social network and a masking effect in the process of farmers’ land transfer from heterogeneous social network.(3)Based on the heterogeneity analysis of farmers’ non-agricultural income,homogeneous social network has no significant effect on the land-transfer and land-transfer behaviors of a class of farmers,while heterogeneous social network also has a significant effect on the land-transfer and land-transfer behaviors of a class of farmers.Homogenous social network has a significant inhibitory effect on the land transfer of second-class households,but has no significant effect on the land transfer,while heterogeneous social network has a significant promoting effect on the land transfer and land transfer of second-class households.(4)The advancement of rural marketization process will promote farmers’ land transfer and land transfer.Meanwhile,the advancement of marketization also weakens the influence of homogeneous social network on farmers’ land transfer behavior,while the role of heterogeneous social network will be more obvious,indicating that farmers’ land transfer will be gradually marketized.According to the above conclusions,in view of the impact of social network on land transfer,this study discusses the corresponding management enlightenment and policy suggestions for the reference of relevant government departments.The government should provide an information disclosure platform to enhance information transparency.Based on the current situation of rural economic and social development under the new economic conditions,it proposes to implement the construction of rural household social network based on market mechanism.We will strengthen rural professional and technical education,expand employment channels for rural residents,improve the rural labor market,and promote the market-oriented development of rural land transfer. |
