| With the transformation of science and technology,enterprises have ushered in huge development opportunities.At the same time,the fierce competitive environment and rapidly changing market environment make the situation faced by enterprises more complex and changeable.Based on this,enterprises have to implement ambidexterity innovation to maintain long-term competitive advantage and maintain core competitiveness.However,the simultaneous development of exploratory and exploitative innovation activities will consume a large amount of enterprise resources.Therefore,how to realize innovation ambidexterity under the condition of resource shortage is an important issue for enterprise development.At the same time,with the advent of the era of knowledge economy,knowledge resources have become the core elements of enterprise development.Therefore,enterprises have carried out a lot of knowledge management activities such as knowledge search and knowledge transfer to obtain new knowledge and improve the economic benefits of enterprises.However,the implementation of knowledge management activities will inevitably accumulate a large number of redundant and duplicate knowledge,leading to knowledge redundancy.Previous studies have shown that knowledge redundancy will have a certain positive or negative impact on enterprise innovation.However,most of the existing studies focus on a single dimension of knowledge redundancy,and few scholars study its impact on enterprise innovation from the perspective of different dimensions of knowledge redundancy.Therefore,it is necessary to further discuss this topic and clarify the impact of different dimensions of knowledge redundancy on enterprise innovation.At the same time,as an important channel for enterprises to obtain resources,the social network of enterprises will inevitably have a certain impact on the development of enterprise knowledge management activities and innovation activities.Therefore,it has certain theoretical value and practical significance to study the regulatory role of social network between knowledge management and innovation ambidexterity.Based on this,this paper focuses on ambidexterity theory,knowledge management theory and social network theory,studies the impact mechanism of different dimensions of knowledge redundancy on the innovation ambidexterity of enterprises,introduces the variable of social network to study its regulatory effect in the above relationship.294 questionnaires from central and western regions were used as research samples for empirical analysis.Specifically,this paper will focus on the research theme of "Can knowledge redundancy promote innovation ambidexterity of enterprises",and explore the following two questions through the survey of Chinese enterprises:(1)What impact will the two dimensions of knowledge redundancy have on exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation of enterprises(2)Does social network play a regulatory role in the relationship between knowledge redundancy and exploratory innovation and exploitative innovation? In order to test the hypothesis proposed in this paper,294 respondents from different industries and regions in China were collected and tested with SPSS27 and Mplus8.0.Finally,the empirical results show that:(1)There is a significant positive relationship between the knowledge redundancy width and knowledge redundancy depth and innovation ambidexterity of enterprises.(2)Social network plays a positive role in regulating the relationship between knowledge redundancy and innovation ambidexterity of enterprises.Based on the above theoretical analysis,the theoretical contribution of this study is to link knowledge redundancy with ambidexterity theory,discuss the impact mechanism of the two dimensions of knowledge redundancy on innovation ambidexterity,enrich and expand the relevant theories of knowledge management,and help to better understand the relationship between knowledge redundancy and innovation ambidexterity.At the same time,this study enriches the relevant theoretical and empirical research of social networks.In addition,this paper draws the following practical enlightenment.First of all,in daily work,managers should attach importance to the existence of knowledge redundancy,actively encourage employees to carry out knowledge mining,make full use of existing knowledge,so that knowledge redundancy can truly be used by enterprises and contribute to the value of innovation ambidexterity of enterprises.Secondly,in external cooperation,we should pay attention to maintaining the relationship with external organizations and make full use of external social networks to obtain external resources. |
