Research On Impact Of OFDI On The High-Quality Development Of China’s Manufacturing Industry

China’s outward foreign direct investment(OFDI)aims to further expand market demand and promote domestic economic development through market-oriented,resource-oriented and technology-oriented forms.At present,China is in the stage of comprehensive development of OFDI,and its economy has entered the stage of high-quality development.However,China’s manufacturing industry lacks development motivation,its development efficiency and quality still need to be improved,which restrict its high-quality development.Promoting OFDI can facilitate international cooperation of China’s surplus production capacity,make room for high-quality development of manufacturing industry,and also improve China’s comprehensive strength to drive high-quality development of national manufacturing industry.Therefore,with the continuous increase of the scale of OFDI,it is of great practical significance to analyze and discuss the impact on the promotion of high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry and the degree of impact.The paper mainly analyzes the mechanism and impact of China’s OFDI on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,including the dynamic change,efficiency change and quality change,as well as the regional heterogeneity of OFDI’s impact on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.This paper constructs the index system of dynamic change,efficiency change and quality change of influence of high-quality development of manufacturing industry and uses entropy method to measure comprehensive score of high-quality development of manufacturing industry with provincial panel data from2010 to 2019.The double fixation effect model and GMM model are used to empirically test the impact of OFDI on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,and the dynamic change,efficiency change and quality change were tested respectively.The research shows that: The spatial distribution of high-quality manufacturing development in China is basically similar to that of high-quality economic development.The comprehensive score of high-quality manufacturing development in eastern China is higher than that in central and western China,and the influence degree of OFDI on high-quality manufacturing development in eastern,central and western China is heterogeneous.OFDI can boost the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry.The fitting coefficients of OFDI on the influence path of manufacturing dynamic change,efficiency change and quality change are positive and heterogeneous.
