The maturity of e-commerce and the intensification of industry competition have had a huge impact on the traditional shopping center business model,which has become two major difficulties that the traditional shopping center business model facing.Based on the above two dilemmas,the research on the business model of X Group’s shopping center will help X Group’s shopping center find its own business model problems,and provide targeted countermeasures and suggestions to help X Group’s shopping center get out of the double dilemmas of e-commerce maturity and intensified industrial competition,which is conducive to the long-term development of X Group’s shopping center.And help other similar shopping centers to find an effective way to innovate business models.This paper selects the business model of X Group shopping center as the research theme,and takes X Beishang Square as the case.It uses the business model canvas research framework,interviews and questionnaires to study the business model of X Group shopping center.This paper first introduces the relevant concepts,theories and documents of business model,then analyzes the current situation of the business model of shopping centers,and analyzes the external environment of X Group’s shopping center from both the macro environment and the industry environment.Once again,through research,it finds the problems and reasons of the current business model of X Group’s shopping center,and then gives the corresponding optimization path and strategic recommendations.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the development environment of X Group’s shopping center,it is found that X Group’s shopping center is currently facing a severe external situation,with great pressure from the macro environment and fierce industry competition.(2)Based on the investigation and analysis of the shopping center of X Group,it is found that there are three core problems in the shopping center of X Group,namely,small flow of people,difficulty in attracting investment and continuous loss.(3)Based on the cause analysis,it is found that the reason for the low pedestrian flow in the shopping center of X Group lies in the weak business combination planning and the lack of in-depth customer segmentation;Lack of effective measures to maintain consumer relations,resulting in low consumer stickiness;The online and offline channels have not been opened up,and consumers’ willingness to go to the shopping center of X Group is low.The reasons for the difficulties in attracting investment lie in the following: the number of cooperative brand merchants is small,and the influence of cooperative brand merchants needs to be strengthened;The core resource capacity is lacking;The value concept proposition has no attraction to brand merchants.The reasons for the continuous loss are: the source of income decreases,and the income drops significantly;High operation and management costs and weak cost control;Key businesses lack core competitiveness.(4)In view of the problems and causes of the current business model of X Group Shopping Center,X Group Shopping Center,based on the nine elements theory of the business model canvas,constructs the specific strategies for optimizing the path of X Group Shopping Center based on the guidance of user experience improvement,business service optimization,external environment trends,problems and causes,and their own resource capabilities.(5)In view of the problems and causes of X Group’s shopping center,X Group’s shopping center needs to improve the flow of people based on customer experience,improve the efficiency of investment promotion based on business cooperation,and optimize the profitability based on key businesses.
