Previous research has proved that employee outflow is detrimental to corporate innovation performance. However, this paper holds that the resigned employees will still maintain a specific relationship with the company, especially those who used to have a good relationship. The company regards leaving employees as a channel to connect to external resources, and reverse knowledge spillovers are conducive to the company’s innovation performance output. From previous literature,we found that the concept of geographic proximity is inextricably linked to employee relations, cooperation, and corporate innovation performance. It is easier for the two parties in geographical proximity to establish cooperation channels, which is conducive to integrating implicit and explicit knowledge between the two parties. In addition to employee outflow, companies should also pay attention to employee inflow. In the past, few studies have combined the two research perspectives of inflowing employees’ relationship strength and cooperation network(degree centrality).Because when individuals are embedded in a new corporate organization, they are very likely to bring previous social and cooperative relationships into the new enterprise. These new relationships are an indispensable channel for cooperation and a source of knowledge for the enterprise, which could help companies improve innovation performance. Therefore, this paper takes social network theory and absorptive capacity theory as the basis, geographical proximity as the primary moderator variable, and the degree centrality and relationship strength of the inflow of employees as the moderator variable to construct relevant theoretical models for revealing the impact of employee turnover on corporate innovation Performance influencing mechanism. This paper also selects a typical knowledge-intensive industry-Biotechnology Medicine as the research object, from 2001 to 2020,uses MATLAB,R to process data, and Combines SPSS 23.0 to carry out statistical analysis, regression analysis and adjustment effect analysis, etc. The experiment results are divided into three aspects: 1).The relationship strength of the enterprise’s outflow employees and the enterprise’s innovation performance have an inverted "U"-shaped curve.2).Geographical proximity plays a negative role in regulating the relationship between the intensity of the company’s outflow of employees and the company’s innovation performance.3).The degree centrality and relationship strength of the inflowing employees,as a secondary adjustment, can positively adjust the adjustment effect of geographic proximity. In summary, this research has the following four contributions.1).Filling the single perspective of previous research.2).Enriching the relevant theoretical basis in the field of employee outflow.3).Providing reference value and significance the field of biomedicine in China and promote high-tech innovation enterprises to find development advantages in the market.
