The advent of the era of knowledge economy has accelerated the process of a new round of global scientific and technological revolution and industrial revolution.Technology standards are the core link of the industrialization of independent innovation achievements,and have become the main force of market competition after product competition and technology competition.The accelerated flow of innovative elements and technological resources around the world drives enterprises to continuously obtain heterogeneous resources through external networks and continuously improve their own technology innovation capabilities.Along with knowledge overflow and sharing,technology standard alliance network emerges as the times require,which becomes a new form of strategic alliance network and provides new development opportunities for enterprises.Specifically,the technology standard alliance network can help network embedded companies enhance cooperation with other member organizations of the network to maximize the support of external heterogeneous resources,thereby helping companies continuously improve technological innovation performance and achieve strategic goals of reducing innovation risks and operating costs.The structure embeddedness of technology standard alliance network is the structural characteristic of enterprises in technology standard alliance network.It will have an important impact on enterprise knowledge creation and technology innovation.When the degree of structural embeddedness is appropriate,the technology standard alliance network will bring more resources and information to enterprises,thereby helping enterprises to continuously improve their technology innovation performance;while when the degree of structural embeddedness is not appropriate,enterprises will be more vulnerable to market shocks.The firm’s innovation benefits will also be negatively affected.As for what kind of characteristics of network structure embeddedness of technology standard alliance will be more effective in maintaining and improving the technology innovation performance of enterprises,the existing literature has not yet been analyzed in depth.Faced with huge competitive pressure,enterprises must continuously improve their technology innovation performance.It is particularly important to clarify and grasp the deep-seated relationship between the embeddedness of the network structure of the technology standard alliance and the technology innovation of enterprises,and then help enterprises continuously improve the performance level of technology innovation by optimizing the embeddedness of the network structure.Based on the two indicators of centrality and structural holes,this study explores the different manifestations of the embeddedness of the technology standard alliance network structure,and at the same time explores the different ways of realizing the performance of technological innovation of enterprises,and analyzes the potential impact paths and relationships between the two.Based on resource dependence theory,network embedding theory and knowledge-based theory,this study starts from the structural embeddedness characteristics of enterprises in the technology standard alliance network,and uses literature analysis,social network analysis,empirical analysis and other research methods to construct a theoretical model of the relationship between standard alliance network structure embeddedness(centrality and structural holes),knowledge base(knowledge base width and knowledge base depth)and enterprise technological innovation performance.This study explores the influence mechanism of centrality and structural holes on the technology innovation performance of enterprises in the technology standard alliance network;At the same time,considering the breadth and depth of the knowledge base comprehensively,it studies how the knowledge base regulates the impact of the embeddedness of the technology standard alliance network structure on the technological innovation performance of enterprises.This study first selects my country’s A-share manufacturing listed companies from 2014 to 2020 as a sample,based on 4926 technology standard data that the sample companies lead or participate in formulating,uses social network analysis method,and uses UCINET6.0 software to build a technology standard alliance network and calculate the relevant network structure Embedded indicators;Then,the econometric model was established,and stata software was used to carry out empirical tests on the negative binomial regression model of fixed effects,and the corresponding regression results were obtained,and the robustness test was carried out on the regression results of the main effect and adjustment effect,and the verification results were consistent with the previous analysis conclusions.Finally,according to the analysis of the regression results,the following conclusions can be drawn:First,in the technology standard alliance network,there is a positive correlation between the centrality and the technology innovation performance of enterprises;there is a U-shaped relationship between structural holes and technological innovation performance of enterprises;Secondly,in the technology standard alliance network,the breadth of knowledge base positively moderates the positive correlation between centrality and enterprise technological innovation performance;the moderating effect of knowledge base breadth in the U-shaped relationship between structural holes and enterprise technological innovation performance is not significant;Finally,in the technology standard alliance network,the depth of knowledge base negatively regulates the positive correlation between centrality and enterprise technology innovation performance;the depth of knowledge base negatively regulates the U-shaped relationship between structural holes and enterprise technology innovation performance.Based on the above theoretical analysis and empirical testing,this study proposes that enterprises should choose the appropriate network structure location to embed in the technology standard alliance network,and at the same time,consider their own knowledge base structure to adjust knowledge acquisition strategies in a timely manner and strengthen the market,enterprise and government to jointly drive the construction of technology standard alliance network.The purpose is to provide decision-making reference and basis for the formulation of my country’s technology standard alliance network development strategy plan,the formulation of government technology standardization strategy and enterprise technology innovation strategy,continuously help improve the technology innovation performance of enterprises,and ultimately help enterprises continuously improve the ability of sustainable development.The innovations of this paper are mainly reflected in three aspects:First,it discusses the relationship between the technology standard alliance network,an emerging special strategic alliance network,and the technology innovation performance of enterprises,which expands the new path for the improvement of technology innovation performance of enterprises,and helps to explore relationship between technology standard and technology innovation;The second is to explore the impact of the technology standard alliance network on the technology innovation performance of enterprises from the two structural embeddedness indicators of centrality and structural holes,and find that there is a U-shaped relationship between the structural holes of the technical standard alliance network and the technology innovation performance of enterprises,which has certain reference value;The third is to study the external network resources and internal knowledge structure under the same research framework,and explore the moderating role of enterprise knowledge base in the relationship between the embeddedness of technology standard alliance network structure and enterprise technology innovation performance,which provide new ideas for enterprises to carry out technology standardization and technologyl innovation activities.
