Research On The Impact Of Agricultural Industry Chain Extension On Rural Economic Developmen

The extension of the agricultural industry chain is an important means to promote the revitalization of the agricultural industry and one of the effective ways to promote the development of the rural economy.In recent years,relying on the advantages of resource endowments,the vast rural areas have extended the agricultural industry chain.On the one hand,it has enhanced agricultural competitiveness and resilience,and resilience,and empowered rural economic development with industrial development;and multi-functional development,leading the comprehensive development of rural economy.In this context,it is of great significance to study the specific impact relationship between the extension of the agricultural industrial chain and the development of rural economy to solve the three rural issues and implement the rural revitalization strategy in our country.By sorting out relevant literature,this paper defines the concepts of agricultural industrial chain extension and rural economic development,and explores the impact mechanism of agricultural industrial chain extension on rural economic development on the basis of relevant theories.The agricultural industry chain extension index evaluation system is constructed from two dimensions of horizontal extension and vertical extension,and the level of rural economic development is reflected in four aspects: infrastructure,economic quality and efficiency,green development,and people’s livelihood sharing.The entropy value method and the entropy weight TOPSIS method are used to measure the agricultural industrial chain extension level and rural economic development level of 30 provinces(autonomous regions,municipalities)in my country from 2010 to 2020.The fixed effect model,mediation effect model and moderation effect model are constructed to empirically test the impact of agricultural industrial chain extension on rural economic development.In addition,the panel threshold effect model is used to further analyze the nonlinear relationship between the two.The research found that:(1)The extension of the agricultural industry chain and the level of rural economic development differ greatly among regions,and agricultural development is highly correlated with interregional economic development.The extension of the agricultural industry chain in Beijing,Shanghai and other eastern regions has a relatively high level of rural economic development,while the development level in western regions such as Gansu and Guizhou is relatively low;(2)The extension of the agricultural industry chain has significantly promoted the development of the rural economy.The conclusion still holds true even after the nature of the problem.Among them,the effect of horizontal extension is significantly greater than that of vertical extension;(3)The extension of the agricultural industry chain has heterogeneity in promoting rural economic development.The extension of the industrial chain plays a greater role;(4)The extension of the agricultural industrial chain is conducive to promoting farmers’ income increase,agricultural technology innovation,and then promoting rural economic development.In addition,the intensity of government support for agriculture reflects a positive regulatory effect;(5)The extension of the agricultural industry chain has a double threshold effect when promoting rural economic development,and the threshold coefficients are-0.408,0.280,and 0.159 respectively,and the relationship between the two is "inverted".U-shaped development.In order to better play the role of agricultural industrial chain extension in promoting rural economic development,it is proposed to accelerate the construction of the agricultural industrial chain network extension system,rationally allocate rural resources,guide farmers to participate in agricultural industrial chain extension,promote agricultural technology innovation,and increase Countermeasures and suggestions for agricultural investment,improving the level of financial support for agriculture,and strengthening the construction of the regulatory system.
